The apartment was clean and well appointed. Great location in a residential area, but still near several commercial establishments. Very nice. Would be happy to stay there again.

Rolando is a great host-very friendly and responsive. We had several very nice conversations and were quite impressed with his garden. The apartment was quiet and very well furnished. The location is perfect--although the street is very quiet, it is walkable to Wheaton Mall (including a Costco and Giant supermarket), a huge variety of ethnic restaurants, and the Wheaton Metro Station. All in all, I highly recommend a stay.

My spouse and I both agree that this was the nicest AirBnB location we have ever enjoyed. Carol's house is delightful, perfectly located and Carol was very thoughtful. This corner of DC is a walking and bicycling delight with cute Bodegas and restaurants, paths galore and easy access to DC via either transit or vehicle. We loved this stay!

Ron’s apartment was exactly as described. Very clean and the location is wonderful. Ron was very good at communicating and providing timely information.

It feels like a retreat, with the soothing sound of birds singing and a serene backyard surrounded by nature—yet it’s just minutes from restaurants, shopping, and more. I booked the 'suite' less than a week before my stay. I was fortunate this roomy suite was available & at 70% the price of a lesser hotel room (!) with similar locational proximity to family I was visiting nearby via redline Metro. I highly recommend this to singles and couples looking for a location like this, although the bed is small ish for a couple. I was only their for three nights, but the suite would be fine for a multi-week stay. The bus stops (both directions) could hardly be closer. And hostess Susan is very proactive and responsive. My only minor concerns are not being able to turn off the front door light, I didn't need the motion detector light near the bed which came on occasionally when I rolled over in bed, and the noise from the dog(s) from the main residence upstairs can be heard in the ground level suite. Like I said these are minor concerns and I'll bet Susan could mitigate my two lighting concerns.

My daughter and I enjoyed this wonderful space. It is walkable to Friendship Heights metro, restaurants, a movie theater, grocery stores. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We will definitely be back!

Very nicely maintained apartment ideally suited for families in a very quiet neighborhood. Hosts are always available and very responsive. We had a wonderful time exploring DC. Will be back for sure.

I stayed in DC over 20 times in the past 20 years. I have to say Chris’s place was at the top of the list. I picked it because we were going to the Smithsonian zoo. Which was only a 8 minute walk to the Harvard walk in gate. The best restaurant within walking distance was ll Supremo Italian food. Very good for such a small place

The place was a great fit for us and felt very homely and comfortable. It’s located in a great neighborhood that is walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Megan was a great host and we look forward to staying at her place in the future!

Very responsive host. The side yard is very nice for people with dogs that travel. Location is very nice but DC traffic during rush hour can be rough but this can be planned for. Would stay again.

We really loved the en suite washer & dryer. The layout was very livable with lots of storage spaces. The use of borrowed daylight was effective via glass block sections in the living area and bathroom. We loved the quiet neighborhood, the easy walk to the Metro & grocery store, and restaurants downtown could be reached via the circulator bus. Jeff and Peggy were friendly and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. If our son wasn’t moving out of the area, we would likely choose to stay there again.

Katherine and Bruno were great hosts. Always willing to help and make recommendations. The apartment was clean and cozy. A pleasant surprise was how kids friendly the place was - lots of toys and activities to keep the little one engaged. Their backyard is also quite attractive to slightly older kids than ours and they graciously allow us to use the toys and equipment they have installed for their family. Once checked in, they were quite responsive over text messages and were always available for a chat if needed. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable for two people, 4 can barely fit- but that's clearly mentioned in the listing. The only thing to keep in mind - if the weather is changing drastically throughout your stay- too hot/cold- as it did in our case, make sure to communicate your preference for the AC/heating. Some of that control needs to be adjusted by them, so be mindful and let them know at a reasonable hour - they will gladly adjust things to your preference and comfort

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable garden level brownstone unit. It was super clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole place had lots of thoughtful touches. It was very close to bus stops and easy to catch a ride-share. A few grocery stores were within 10 minutes walking distance. The street was clean, safe, and felt like a little private area in the middle of the big city. Also, it was a 3 minute walk to a parking garage, for those who are bringing a car. I would definitely stay here again!

Willie's place was just as pictured- super clean and free of clutter living, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. We had an issue getting into the unit initially (code was not working) but I called Willie and he IMMEDIATELY answered and the issue was resolved in seconds. Location is great, could walk or an easy Uber/Lyft into the city or around the area. Also downtown Arlington has lots of cute shops. Less than 10 minute drive to the airport too! The only negative is that this is a four unit shared "house" and the stairs to get up to the unit, along with being on the top floor (old squeaky floors) it is very difficult to be quiet during the after hours (even with just walking in and getting ready for bed). Other than that, the stay was perfect and just as described! Thank you Willie!

Stayed at George’s place for our family trip to DC. It was exactly what we needed for our family of 6. Easy walk to Safeway and Metro. House was very clean and set up well. If you happen to forgot to pack something there’s a very good chance George has it in the home for you. We had a great stay.

Great place to stay. Close to cafes, restaurants, the metro. Ida’s instructions were great and the accommodation was exactly as described. We loved the accommodation and the neighbourhood and would choose to stay here again.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Cheri and Cliff were awesome hosts! They were helpful, informative, and friendly. They have a beautiful place that is very clean and walkable to many places. Highly recommend and would stay again!
