Fred’s place was exactly what I needed. Very well laid out and furnished. Excellent shower- always important. Beautiful garden. Great view. Plenty of parking.

Really well located in short drive to beaches and local wake park (part of the reason we were down). For the long weekend it was perfect for what we needed and really comfortable. Next time we are in the area will definitely consider staying again.

Superb property, the host has thought of everything! Very clean, well equipped kitchen. The house is very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were a group of 4 down to cycle the Tarka trail. The property was perfect for us. Highly recommended, many thanks!

Susie is the most welcoming and friendly host. On arrival The Swallows is a very pretty cabin in lovely surroundings. Just right for myself and my little dog, with everything we could need for the week. I can not emphasize how relaxing, sitting and listening to the birdsong was. A very clean and comfortable place to stay with the most delicious chocolate brownies. The Swallows is in a very handy position for North Devon and into Cornwall so a lot can be seen. I was visiting my friend in Clovelly and it is very handy for that. I will be returning again very soon. Well done Susie, lots of love Tracey & Taffy xx
