Just the type of accommodation I like best. Peace and quiet. My own clean, tidy room and bath. No other guests. Access to kitchen so I do not need expensive restaurant food for every meal. Washing machine and outdoor clothes line. Gracious, knowledgeable hosts. Esquire coffee shop just a few minutes’ walk, open at 6:30—great for early birds like me—with good coffee, pastries, and breakfast/lunch fare. Easy access by bus to train station to get to London and elsewhere. Small Tesco shop next to Esquire where you can get basic things.

Great location to get into town and the free parking was a real bonus.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and the kitchen had a good range of nice quality equipment. the host was thoughtful and provided a fan for hot weather which made a big difference in this heatwave.

Just what we wanted, somewhere near to shops and restaurants and not a million miles from places we wanted to visit.
