House holiday rentals in Big Cottonwood Canyon

This was a great place to stay for our larger group and could see this being great for two families. That has two kitchens and plenty of space for people to spend time separately or altogether. It’s also very close to anything you need, but a great neighborhood to walk around at the same time. The rooms and whole house were clean and well decorated. The only small complaint we had was that the pool and hot tub weren’t clean upon arrival, but the host was quick to respond and had it cleaned up that day. We were in between locations so that day was our planned “pool day” and it put a small twist on our plans with kids - but ended up working out by the afternoon. I would definitely recommend this location and would come back if we are in the area again! Overall, we loved the house and would definitely come back if we were in the area again!

Enjoyed the stay. The neighborhood is quiet with great walking areas throughout. The house has all the amenities you would need along with beautiful views of the city and mountains. Terry is very responsive with any questions or concerns you may have. I would stay there again.

One of the best AirBnb experiences in many years. Morgan was so friendly and accommodating. The unit was as described with lots of little extras to make us comfortable. He’s really tried to think of everything. Highly recommend! If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely stay at Lux Den again.

This place was great! We would definitely stay here again next time we come into town. Very close to the Canyons side, which we prefer, and close to Whole Foods, etc. There is public transport if you prefer but we chose to drive to the free parking lot at the Canyons. House was just as expected and added bonus that they had a hot tub after a long day on the slopes!

Megan’s place was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. House very clean, comfortable beds with nice sheets. Kitchen had everything we needed. Pool was alot of fun! We would stay again!

Stayed for a month and had a great time. Place was always a welcome retreat after hitting the slopes, whether that was enjoying the pool, game room, or hanging around the living area. Tim and Angie were responsive and helpful!

We were in Utah for my daughters wedding. The house was very clean and the outside well maintained. We really enjoyed the backyard after traveling from New Jersey. We appreciated the hospitality!!!

Beautiful home for our summer family gathering in Utah. Eddy and Stephani are very responsive and helpful with accommodations. We loved staying at their place and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay for a ski trip or summer vacation in Utah.

This is a nice, clean place, and Jennifer was friendly, accommodating, and responded quickly to messages. I stayed here during an interstate move, and it was nice to be in a quiet suburb (but still close to restaurants and a Trader Joe’s) rather than the heart of SLC. I will say that the bed was very soft, and the laundry soap and toiletries were strongly fragranced. I know these are a matter of personal taste, but just thought I’d mention them in case anyone doesn’t like either of those things.

The neighborhood is very calm and peaceful. The location is within 5-10min. of all my favorites shopping places, restaurants, and freeway. The home is very clean, organized, and welcoming. As for the host, he was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. When we couldn't find something we needed, he brought it to us within 10min. of contacting him. When we requested a later check-out time, he worked with us to arrange and accommodate our request. Overall, the location is perfect, the home is clean and tidy, and the host is great. Everything was as shown and couldn't have been a better experience. I will definitely request to stay here again in the future.

Jessica’s place was by far the most beautiful Airbnb we have stayed in. It was the perfect place for me and my husband while we visited our daughter. The kitchen is amazing and had more than you could need. We really appreciated the attention to detail.

Swanky2 is the perfect place to truly hide away. Kim is super nice. My only regret is not having time to meet her. This area is nice, safe, lots of shopping, plenty to do & within a short distance of so much more. We enjoyed our time at Swanky2 and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We did get to share our stay with scute mama raccoon & her babies. The babies made the cutest sounds. Kim was always checking to make sure they weren’t bothering us. My daughter was ready to take them home. Kim was wonderful & perhaps we’ll meet at some point. We hope you enjoy your stay with the giraffes as much as we did.

This Airbnb is pure serenity. Surrounded by nature, it offers true peace and quiet—no noise, no distractions, just stillness and wildlife. The home is spotless, modern, and beautifully designed with large windows that bring the outside in. We saw deer daily, often right outside the window, and birds and even a moose. My only tip: bring binoculars to enjoy the wildlife even more! The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and everything is thoughtfully maintained. It’s a perfect place to unplug, read, rest, and reset. Every detail—from cozy linens to spa-like bathrooms—felt intentional. We left feeling deeply rested and recharged. If you need a quiet escape with modern comforts and stunning natural beauty, this is it. Truly magical.

This was an awesome stay. I stayed for my wedding, to get ready before and after. It was close to my venue which was 8 minutes away up the canyon. It was beautiful up there. The place was provate and clean. And there was plenty of entertainment for groomsmen and bridesmaid to do while helping us get ready. Lindsay was very accommodating and didn't mind we had a few extra people during the day. Also she was very sweet and gifted me a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a wedding gift. 100% would recommend!

Whole family stayed here for a nearby wedding. Location is great. Pressed right up to the mountainside. Walk to nearby park. Seems like you’re away from everything but stores and restaurants are only a short drive away. I think this is a great location for a ski trip. I would definitely recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! We got married this weekend in Sandy and, coming from out of state, it was the perfect home base for us and a few of our friends. We even used the beautiful space for our getting-ready photos and first look—everything turned out amazing! The home had all the amenities we needed and more, and we truly enjoyed every part of it. The property managers were fantastic—so accommodating and quick to respond. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was renovated and was in very good condition. The house would appeal to guests with an interest in music, with a classic stereo, 200 CD changer, a record collection and numerous coffee table books on various artists. The kitchen was well equipped, which made cooking dinners a breeze. It took us a few attempts to decipher the controls for the dishwasher but we eventually figured it out. The projection TV was also a hit, and the clear instructions made it easy to set-up and operate. The hot tub and the newly renovated master bathroom were both great after hitting the slopes in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Both of which were easily accessible from the house. Joey even provided several recommendations to nearby restaurants, which came in handy!

The house and location proved to be a wonderful winter wonderland. We stayed over the holidays and enjoyed the area, having a white Christmas, privacy and plenty of space. The pups loved playing in the snow and checking out the wildlife. The upstairs had beautiful tile-work in the bathrooms and magnificent views of the city lights at night. They provided weather updates and recommendations. This would be a great choice for anyone traveling with a family or friends. Thank you for your hospitality!
