Everything was good, I had a little difficulty with the air conditioning getting it set but once I got it it cooled very good

The cozy cabin was a perfect home base for exploring the Au Sable river. Great affordable option if you just need a spot near the river.

This was a last second find for staying in the area for work. Beds were great and a comfortable space. If you want to get away from busy cities, this is the place!

Where do I even start… Greg’s place, Sunshine Hill, was the perfect spot for our honeymoon. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and beautiful nature, this is where you want to be. The photos don’t lie — it’s just as gorgeous in person. The decor fits the space perfectly too. If you’re planning to stay put (which you probably will — we didn’t want to leave!), I’d suggest grabbing groceries beforehand. The fire pit was awesome for keeping the mosquitoes away, and honestly, we didn’t mind them because the views of the open field were stunning. So peaceful. 😌 If I could change one thing, it’d be to add a screened-in porch — but really, the place had everything we wanted. Greg, thanks again for being such a kind and welcoming host. We’ll definitely be back — hopefully sooner rather than later!
