The Colibri Cabin is absolutely beautiful, the view from the back deck is amazing, and very peaceful as well. The inside of the home was spotless, and the Host was fantastic. Given the opportunity we will be returning to the Colibri Cabin again!

We loved this place! Cute and quiet - a perfect unplugged weekend. It doesn’t have a TV, which we appreciated; the kiddos and us enjoyed board games, the record player, the hot tub & the fire pit. Would recommend and would def stay again, if planning a trip to Monticello.

We really enjoyed the stay at A Frame of Mind. This cottage with nice amenities is nestled in a very natural setting with large 100+ year old Oak trees. The view off the back deck into the woods is great as the sun rises in the morning. We were here in late May but the view is probably really special when the leaves are turning in the fall or even when they are gone over winter. We walked down to the boat ramp in the neighborhood and my sons loved taking photos of this peaceful cove of Lake Cumberland. On a boat we were literally 5 mins to Jamestown and State Dock marinas. All in all this was a great place in a great location. The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. 5 stars all around!

We planned this trip months in advance. Unfortunately a couple days before our trip a tornado went through the area. She immediately contacted us when she learned the power was out. We decided to go to the house and see if it had been restored but the power was still out. Megan went above and beyond to help us and was able to provide us another place to stay. We had a wheelchair bound family member with us so we were not easy to accommodate. We were not at this original location long but it was clean and as described. I know it would have been a great place to stay.

Amazing cabin with amazing views. Everything was clean and spotless. Our host, Sarah, was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a little glitch with the entry code, but it was quickly resolved. It is a long winding road to the cabin, about 15 miles. Take your time and enjoy the view. I would suggest taking hwy 196 out of Nancy, your GPS might suggest a slightly different route, but 196 worked best for us. Be prepared for an amazing view as you reach Cave Springs Rd. WOW! Also, be sure to pick up your groceries before heading to the cabin. There is a small grocery store in Nancy, otherwise larger stores are available in Somerset, about 45 minutes from the cabin. If you want to do any walking, we would not suggest using the road by the cabin, it's a bit narrow with lots of twists and turns and no shoulders and could be a little dangerous. Save your walks for the numerous parks in and around the area. Overall we had a Great Time! Thank You Sarah! - Tom & Jan

My kids and I spent six amazing days together in Burnside. The house was lovely. The area was beautiful. The house was stocked with all the things. Jennifer was very responsive the few questions I had. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the stay! Our family and a few friends stayed at the cabin and pool plus air hockey was a hit for the young crowd. Our teen boys slept in the trundle beds with no complaints. Other beds, linens, etc., were great for our family. The boys fished both the nearby dock and local park, but unfortunately didn’t have any ‘big’ fishing stories to take away. :) Another part of our family stayed just down the street in another cabin and they too were happy with the quite community atmosphere. Would stay again.

Can’t recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked the little cabin in the Woods for two nights. We were in town for some local tractor pulls. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was so peaceful after all the noise and mud haha…I was able to disconnect from my phone. I ended up reading a book during my stay which I haven’t done in a while. Would definitely stay here if/when we return to the area.

If you enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors and a quiet setting,look no further. The host set out a large compliment of at homefeatures. Did you forget foul for the bbq. No worries, the cabin is a fully functional home as is. If quiet front porch sitting like us. This is your little slice of heaven. Btw there is train watching on the property.

Amazing place, it’s a knotty pine sanctuary.

The place was clean and well-stocked with everything needed. The large mattress was super comfortable. Relaxing on the front porch and catching frogs and toads was our favorite activity! The host was wonderful to work with, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a getaway, down some back country roads.

Another great stay for our great nieces 8th Birthday! Everything was super clean, well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. Elsie is an awesome host that is super prompt in getting back to you. The stay is always pleasant and we feel at home! I can't wait for our next stay at Elsies place!

Had a blast with everything! Was very comfortable and felt like a real strong getaway location! Would most definitely recommend and go again, we never got bored and there wasn’t an end of thing to do! Overall great experience and had a wonderful trip, beautiful views!!

Perfect cabin for a few days on the lake.. had everything we need and then some… nice circle driveway for traveling with a boat and jet ski! Very clean and decorated so cute… Caleb was a great host!

The place was very very nice. Danielle and Jeff were very helpful with helping us make arrangements. We had the pleasure of meeting Danielke and she was very nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. I am very picky about places I stay and this was a definite winner in my book. Very clean, comfortable, peaceful. We all loved the stay.

Beautiful and peaceful! The groom and his groomsman stayed here for a wedding at Oak Hill Gardens and it was perfect for them. Veronica is very responsive and friendly as well!

Super cute cabin. Very cozy with great decor. Loved the coffee station and the back porch by the river. Susan was extremely helpful. We had fun feeding the animals and she even gifted us a dozen eggs. We enjoyed this place so much that we booked it again to stay overnight for our trip home.

We have stayed at this cabin for multiple years and it has always been perfect for our group. Appreciate all the little things this cabin offers…great parking, private and relaxing. The host is always responsive and you can really see the effort made to make you feel comfortable when staying there!

My sister, niece and I stayed at the cabin. It was cozy and comfortable. I would stay again if I was in the area. It is convenient to stores and restaurants.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in London, KY, look no further. This is THE place to stay! The house is exactly as advertised, but so much more. Anything you could possibly need is provided. The kitchen is even stocked with snacks and drinks. There is such a peaceful feeling on this hill. Hearing the slam of the screen door on the front porch brought back many pleasant memories of the past. Now to one of the most important things - Christie is the absolute best hostess. She gave us a personal tour of the house, provided homemade treats for us to enjoy and generally made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Will definitely be a repeat guest!

Great house with an awesome deck on the back to entertain after a nice day out on Buck Creek. Quiet neighborhood. We took full advantage of the fire pit in the evenings to wrap our day. Location is great!! Walking distance to the boat ramp from the house but parking also available at the ramp. Took our Waverunner on Buck Creek multiple times and had a blast navigating down to Cumberland River. Felt like we had that part of the lake all to ourselves the whole weekend. Steep ramp but had no issues launching or retrieving. Will definitely be back and will plan to bring my boat to launch into Buck Creek.

We loved staying at the eagles nest! Such a beautiful view of the lake drinking my coffee every morning ! Quiet at night and great neighbors! Josh responded always immediately!

My family had a wonderful visit. Beautiful view, flat property for our dog and son to play. Loved both porches, great for a relaxing slow start to the mornings. We would absolutely stay at this place again.
