Cabin holiday rentals in Bishop

Our family of five enjoyed the cabin for 5 days. Easy access to the lake every day for activities and we went horseback riding. Cute neighborhood for walking around everyday and getting to town. Felt right in the middle of town so we pretty much ate and drank at every single establishment we could! House was cute and had a grill for cooking lunches, fire pit with wood for hanging around at night. Loved their dishes and fully stocked kitchen. Kids enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves as well! Hot tub was perfect for hanging out in everyday. Couldn’t want for more.

This place is phenomenal. Stunning views, an amazingly stocked kitchen/bathrooms/bedrooms, a hot tub & fireplace, games, an Apple TV, beautifully decorated, a dedicated garage, and all at a very reasonable price point. I highly recommend! My group and I had a fantastic stay.

We spent a fabulous week at Mary Beth's place! We were a family of 5 — 2 adults, 3 kids aged 8, 9, and 11. It was the perfect space for us. The very short walk to Canyon Lodge was terrific, and I feel like we had everything we needed. We'll be back!

Rented the cabin for a long weekend with the grandparents and our three children. The cabin was super cozy and clean! We had so much fun and the cabin is conveniently located by the village. We had so much fun and will probably be back next year again! Thank you Arsineh for all your help and communicating so well and quickly! Highly recommend!!

This Airbnb was perfect for us. It was a beautiful 3 story townhome and a quick drive to any of the great hiking spots. Super close to the nearby lakes as well. The grill was great to use for burgers and chicken wings. The tub in the primary bath was great after a day of hiking and though it was only 4 of us, it could have comfortably fit 7-9 people as there were so many beds. I will say if you plan to cook there, I would buy a scrub brush as one is not provided. I hate scrubbing dirty dishes with the same sponge I use to clean it so I got one at Vons (which is like 5 minutes away). Overall great place and would 100% stay again!

Katie’s place was beautiful!!! My husband and I wanted to have a quiet and romantic getaway and this place was perfect for that. The location is next to EVERYTHING. Katie was so amazing at communicating and responded almost instantly to anything that we had questions about. We will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful condo with lots of space! Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean and inviting, cutely decorated. Great two bathrooms supplied with everything you need. Kitchen has small coffee bar area with also everything you need to make coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Sat outside with the dog on the small porch enjoying the snow capped Sierras. Well kept Snowcreek property grounds. Going back this summer. Great find for me and the dog loves her walking the grounds.

Our family had a great stay at Donald and Katherine’s place. We felt comfortable, safe, at home, and would stay again. Donald and Katherine gave clear communication, quick responses, and their place was clean, spacious, and accommodating to dining and outdoor activities.

Had a wonderful stay while in town to visit family for the holidays. The kitchen is well stocked and ready to cook. Everything we needed was provided by the host and they were quick to respond when we had a question the first night. Beautiful home with great views. Can’t wait to stay again.

This is a great cabin in Shaver. Cabin was extremely clean and it’s clear it’s recently been update. It was perfect for our multi generation family trip, including our fur babies. We will be back.

10 out of 10! This place was amazing, from cleanliness, stuff to do, great views, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, family friendly living space, it had it all. My family had a great Christmas vacation here and we are already looking at coming back over summer.

Loved my stay here. Wanted to do a spontaneous trip to Yosemite. Enjoyed the drive to there. The cabin is really in the middle of nowhere where so it’s very peaceful and quiet.

Place is as advertised. Cleaner than almost all AirBnbs in the area. Host is responsive. Location is quite and convenient. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, so you won't get starved even if you forget to bring everything. Note. Some practical information to future renters. There is no street light, so finding the place after dark is challenging. The driveway, the only available parking area, is slanted, so be extra careful during snow days.

We had an amazing time! Rae, Beth and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Cabin was cozy and clean, camp sierra was a nice place to be during our down time visiting Huntington lake. There’s a waterfall and a waterhole walking distance from the cabins and a fun playground area in the middle of the camp. The small general store had ice cream, knick knacks and games and puzzles you can borrow. It was beautiful and peaceful and was fun visiting with other families staying in the camp. Thank you camp sierra, we will definitely be back again.

Are family was very happy there , very peaceful, comfortable, beautiful cabin , great for kiddos and adults, recommend it for sure .. Host was great 👍.. we’ll be staying there again for sure.. One of our favorite places near Shaver Lake , stores, food etc..

I really enjoyed my long weekend away at Kimber’s cabin. It had everything I needed to lock myself away for the weekend and enjoy nature. I would definitely stay there again. Kimber was also very helpful and responded quickly!

This was our second time staying here, it’s our favorite place to stay in Mammoth. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. There was a lot to do throughout the hotel. We hope to come back again soon!

We had such a great weekend at the cabin we rented for my son’s birthday! Everything about it was just perfect for our family. It gave us the chance to slow down and really enjoy each other’s company. The cabin came with fun games that kept everyone entertained, and the sleeping areas were super comfortable for all of us. We also made good use of the kitchen—it was stocked with all the kitchenware we needed, which made meals easy and enjoyable. The kids especially loved the selection of DVDs—they really appreciated that little touch. Overall, it was the perfect getaway and we truly enjoyed ourselves!

Cheri’s place was country comfortable, perfect for what we were looking for, for our family gathering. Cheri was very sweet lady and caring about our stay. We had a wonderful time, I would recommend her place to stay if you’re looking for a high sierra cabin experience. Close to lakes, steams, hiking trails and beautiful scenery. Thank you Cheri.

We appreciate you hosting our family in Shaver Lake. We found it extremely easily with your directions and pictures. It was more than enough room, lots of parking, very welcoming, cozy, comfortable, clean and well equipped with anything we might need. The views are priceless and the location was convenient to shops, groceries, restaurants, etc. Overall, this place was definitely a 10/10 on every aspect! Humberto and Angelica has a lovely home. It feels right at home with all the nice decors around the place. We came her to celebrate my son’s birthday with families and it was a perfect getaway. My son had so much fun playing in the snow and he really enjoyed staying the night at this cabin. It was a great weekend! I would definitely recommend this place for a family getaway.

This was our first time ever booking through Airbnb as I had heard crazy stories before that always deterred me from actually booking. However, we decided to compare the costs of Airbnb and other sites and this was by far the best deals with the amenities we wanted. We got exactly what we paid for and the app was easy to use. This rental was everything and more as we didn’t expect anything more than salt and pepper but got a decent little spice cabinet, lighter fluid for the grill, (although we didn’t have time to use it), and was within walking distance to all of the restaurants, markets, and pubs in the area. Less than a five minute drive to Shaver Lake and about 30 minutes to Lakeshore. We had a great time and will definitely be booking again when we visit Shaver in the future.

From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, close to all the outdoor activities I wanted to explore. Leah was an exceptional host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. She provided great local recommendations that made my trip even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
