My wife and I came into town for a graduation and stayed five nights. The property was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Amazing walking trails, very close to downtown with bars and restaurants.. The view of the river was really the highlight for us, escaping city life for a peaceful riverfront retreat. The house was well equipped and we needed for nothing. Tons of space and friendly neighbors. We saw plenty of wildlife and watched boaters go up and down the river. We will be back and look forward to staying here for years to come. I was born and raised and the town and never saw this great riverfront location.

The Walnut house does not disappoint . I've stayed here several times. After a long journey, it's great walking into a clean, beautiful cozy home. Sitting in the backyard was so peaceful, going downtown is "a must do". The beds are comfy, the kitchen spotless and it had everything we needed. The home is so nicely decorated, with plenty of space for our little gatherings. Susan is amazing to work with, always gets back to me right away, she made a special accommodation for me! These are just a few of many reasons why I keep booking this sweet gem, The Walnut House!

Spacious. well appointed home in a very walkable neighborhood. The house has been thoughtfully furnished for guests with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and a clean, neutral decor. The hosts are proactive in communication prior and throughout your stay.

Home from a great weekend in Cedar Falls at Kim’s place. Very easy to find - great location. Very clean! Easy to get into - well communicated in advanced. Everything was so clean. Extra blankets & pillows were greatly appreciated. Loved the fans in the bedrooms — we always travel with our own & that was a fun surprise. We did not use the patio, but very private & we would have utilized it if we were staying there longer. Lots of parking. Will definitely stay again!
