The perfect weekend getaway Stayed here with my boyfriend for a long weekend the garden cabin was exceptional very clean and tidy we both loved the hot tub and outside seating the heaters were a perfect touch for the evenings outside playing card games considering it is in someone’s garden it was very private Lisa was excellent she showed us how everything worked when we checked in and sent a message the first day checking everything was okay which was lovely there is a folder with instructions for everything easy to follow I would 100% recommend this to couples looking for a quiet relaxing getaway thank you Lisa it was lovely

Lovely, peaceful escape! Great to relax in the tub and watch the sunset. Very comfy bed!!! Lovely little walk to two local pubs with great food too. Thanks Billy, lovely place.

We loved the location! Stunning views and a gated entrance giving a secure feel. Our cabin was lovely - well equipped with loads of extra goodies which was a lovely touch. Bath towels provided and separate towels for the hot tub. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t working for our visit however we were very quickly told that we could use the hot tub at the main residence, which actually had even better views so that wasn’t a problem and we didn’t feel overlooked or a bother. We loved having all the animals around the farm and grew especially fond of Lenny the cat who spent a lot of time with us. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Heron Lodge is a beautiful and tranquil place to escape busy life. The interior is tastefully decorated with everything needed for a short stay, thoughtful touches like hot water bottles and robes, and in the kitchen olive oil, milk and homemade salted caramel brownies which were delicious. The outside space is incredible; We loved the quietness and privacy, the only sound was birdsong, there was a heron nesting on the jetty opposite and on a little walk just up the track we saw deer. The bbq and hot tub were great (hot tub took 2 hours to heat as per instructions) and the hammock is a brilliant addition for true relaxation! After checking out we visited Ellenden Farm shop for breakfast, a fantastic recommendation from another review on here. We will definitely be booking again.

We stayed the week of 26th may 2025 and I have to say the lodge itself was immaculate and clean, very spacious and comfortable. We were in need of a travel cot for our 4 month old and the quick responses and quick actions taken to get this sorted for us was amazing. The lodge had everything we needed and also was walking distance from everything such as the swimming pool, restaurant, arcades, etc. We would certainly book here again in the future, Many thanks Tyrone

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mirror Houses in Oxford. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully thought-out. The cabin itself is stunning — immaculately clean, stylish, and so cosy, with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings when we could unwind and take in the surroundings. Lucy was an exceptional host — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful throughout. Travelling with our 9-week-old baby, we were a little nervous, but Lucy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her kindness and attention to detail genuinely made our stay feel special and memorable. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already talking about when we might come back. A perfect little retreat — we couldn’t recommend it more

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Beautiful and peaceful location and such an amazing experience to be present and in nature. The cabin itself is so comfortable and cozy and Eloise is a wonderful host and prepared delicious breakfast and dinner hampers for us. We cannot wait for our next stay there – highly recommended!

We decided last minute to have a relaxing couple of days away after the Christmas rush, this place didnt disappoint! We have 2 boys aged 9 and 7 so this had the right mix for us. The farm is brilliant (friendliest goats ever), a fab play area, and a great restaurant (breakfast is a must). There are some great pubs near by, we loved The Plough Inn at Ford. Then theres the lodge, perfectly positioned to make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, the perfect size, of course a hot tub, and all the amenities you need. The lady on site who looks after everything is so accommodating, the best host we've ever experienced. We highly recommend this place, we would absolutely return!!

Duncan and Jackie were brilliant hosts, very informative about the location, how to check in and also provided plenty of recommendations for our stay! They had left us a few extra welcome gifts which was a lovely touch and went down a treat! The cabin itself was exactly what we needed and more, very cosy with all of the amenities you could need. The fenced off garden was perfect for my dog who also loved his stay! Could not have wished for a better stay so will definitely book it again in the near future.

Beautiful relaxing stay, lovely outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine and overlooking the countryside. Shepherd Hut was perfect for us and had everything you need. Would love to visit again.

We had the most amazing peaceful stay at the Forest Cabin! Such a special place, very well maintained, in the middle of nature but still very close to Henley. The hosts were also very responsive and helped us sort an issue with heating immediately. We will for sure be back - such a gem!

Great few days here. The space is small but is well optimized. With the right timing you could cook almost anything in the compact but well equipt kitchen. Shower has great pressure and temperature. Cabins are spaced out and enough greenery to offer significant privacy. Would recommend.

Very gorgeous house for staycation！ and it’s location near Cotswold, which is a lovely town. But I highly recommend someone have a car to rent here, which will be more convenient for traveling

We wanted a couple of nights away from London, and this cabin was just perfect. It’s off the grid, but you can still charge your phone with solar power, and there are solar lights too. The fireplaces inside and outside were super cozy, and the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The cabin had everything we needed, plus some lovely little extras like fresh flowers and incense. It’s in a great spot with easy access to a bridle path and country walks right from the door. You can hear the road a bit, but it didn’t spoil the peace or the amazing views from the cabin.

The studio is a lovely space located in a quiet country side but still only a 20 minute drive to many different villages such as Bibury, Bourton-on-water and Burford. Allison was very friendly, communicated very well and respected our privacy. Military planes often flew over the property which was unexpected and fascinating!! The outdoor space was quite private and a lovely place to sit and have a cup of tea in the morning. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely hope to book again in the future - Thank you Allison! :)

Perfect all round. Location great as so close to everything you’d want to visit. Check in/out really easy as we arrived late, left early and had a very tight schedule - thx for the great and clear instructions. Looking forward to coming back. PS - if you love enjoying a city garden this is an added plus.

This is a beautifully built cabin - notably well constructed and well decorated, and brilliantly appointed. We stayed for two nights when attending a wedding and it was just perfect and hassle free. We loved that we were able to park, and check in even late in the evening was hassle free and easy. Martin is also really friendly and responds quickly to messages. We were so impressed! Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay with Claire and Cuan. They were really helpful and friendly. The location is magnificent with the fabulous White Horse nearby. The cabin was clean and tidy. We thought the lack of a kitchen sink might be a problem, but Claire does the washing up and just makes it all work. The bed is nice and comfy, but also supportive for our ageing backs! Claire and Cuan seem to have thought of everything.

We had a really lovely stay in a beautiful cabin, spotlessly clean, lovely touches, beautiful location, pub 5 min walk really friendly and reasonable prices, lovely food, we took our 2 bikes to go of exploring which was beautiful countryside and kept at the cabin Fantastic value for money, don’t hesitate to book

Just came back from a 4 night stay at the Duet Lodge, the staff when checking in and even before our stay with communication was amazing so helpful and friendly. Also the location of this place was amazing so close to all the little towns nearby, also if your a fan of the Jeremy Clarkson’s farm show its only a 9min drive from the Diddly Squat Farm shop. The place was so clean and the bed was so comfy. The only downside was the hottub, it wasnt powerful at all and the little covers of the jets kept falling off. But apart from that i would highly recommend.

Very cute space. Stella was so kind and helpful. She gave great recommendations and berries from her garden. I would love to stay again!

A clean and well equipped Cabin in a fantastic quiet location. Very accessible to Oxford. Would definitely return if available on my next visit to Oxford. The village is charming with a very inviting cosy pub
