Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Block Island

This house is a gem! The inside is exactly as pictured and is very comfortable. The views from the deck are stunning, especially during sunrise. Pam has equipped the house with all the essentials and we were even pleasantly surprised with welcome treats at check in. Highly recommend this home for families. Some activities we enjoyed were kayaking across the pond to the beach (not easy- but highlight of the trip!), crabbing and fishing off the dock, wine on the deck, walking less than a mile to ice cream and coffee shops and biking around the quiet neighborhood. I really can’t recommend this home and host more! Fabulous stay.

Super clean, quiet and comfortable with lots of great touches. We didn’t get the best weather for lake life but the house made up for it nicely. Look forward to staying again someday!

We had an amazing time at the lakehouse! Tim and Marissa are super communicative and left many helpful directions! The property is beautiful and the house felt like home away from home! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 recommended 😊

I have stayed at lots of places in the last few years . . . and this place ranks right at the top. It is beyond beautiful. The water views from the living room and both bedrooms made it hard to leave and come home. It's actually even more amazing than the pictures. Don't think twice! Book this place now!

It was a very relaxing home surrounded by beautiful waterfront wildlife( a pair of swans and other birds ) and views. It was well worth the stay and I would like to stay there again and I would recommend it to family and friends in the future.

This was such an amazing stay! Hayden House had everything we needed for the stay, and more! The home is beautifully built, and has all of the necessities. Great distance to town, peaceful location but only a short walk to town. The hosts were responsive and everything about the stay was easy and relaxing. We are already talking about booking it again next summer, absolutely recommend!!!

We returned to the house for our annual Memorial weekend vacation and had a wonderful time. The proximity to town and the large yard can’t be beat. Shel is a great communicator and very flexible as well.

We loved our stay! It’s perfect distance to walk to dinner downtown. Off street parking was a huge plus. Brennan gave us a great recommendation upon our arrival! Love the touch of having snacks and drinks in the fridge. Overall perfect place to stay at in Newport!

I loved this little stay, it was very peaceful and lovely. Matthew was an excellent host and the snacks and breakfast options were a lovely addition to the amenities. Matthew is a really thoughtful and lovely host, I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Providence/Pawtucket :)

Elaine has a lovely apartment. Very pristine and quiet with amazing views. Our stay was extremely comfortable. Her instructions were perfect and we had no problem with whatsoever anything. If you’re ever there do not miss the morning sunrise. Outstanding. Thank you Elaine & Rich for a lovely stay. We hope to come back some day.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Out of all the airbnbs I have stayed at Jennifer’s listing has outdone them all!! First of all, Jennifer was the most amazing host and treated us like family! Secondly, the house was spotless, not a speck could be found (and I am usually picky about cleanliness) — it was absolutely exceptional!!! I will definitely be coming back multiple times. Thank you Jennifer for hosting us!

Larna is a true super host! Place has everything you need. Super clean. Great location within walking distance of a lot of the Newport sites. Would love to come back someday.

Reda’s place was absolutely perfect for a week-long stay - I felt so at home. I was visiting family who live just down the road, but needed a space of my own to work and relax between visiting with family; it fit my needs to the “t”. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils (even a can opener!), so I was able to cook a great meal after a long day of work. The neighborhood is peaceful and accessible; I loved going for a run over to New Bedford and back. Reda was always around to say “hi”. My family and I will definitely be back! Thank you, Reda!

We loved Montauk - low key, wild and upmarket at the same time. This apartment was perfect, super quiet yet near everything and loved seeing wild deer from the terrace

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!
