Holiday rentals with breakfast in Blowing Rock

The house was perfect for a weekend in Boone and going to Tweetsie Railroad! The location/yard was private and beautiful and also close to town which was convenient. There was plenty of room in the house for our large family. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely stay here again!

We had the most magical summer stay at “our nest”. The home was clean and well stocked. Yvonne was so kind and left milk, OJ, Eggs and tons of snacks. The coffee bar was well stocked as well. The backyard was perfect for our kiddo and dogs. We sat out at night watching the dazzling firefly show. The location was perfect, close to historic Boone but also close to all the hiking we did. We would highly recommend Yvonne’s home.

Carol was so easy to communicate with. The farmhouse is quaint and so very quiet and restful. Perfect for a mountain getaway.

Perfect spot for a gathering of family! We had ample room and everything needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked, enjoyed the deck and relaxed.

We had the most amazing stay at Treetops! An absolutely stunning location with the best views. The sunrises were incredible. We really loved the layout and decoration, the house had everything that we needed and more. Really responsive host too. A huge thank you and we will be back.

Host was very responsive. Not anything that is their fault and they gave good directions but it’s a little confusing just due to the hurricane destroying access to get to the property. Otherwise it was a quiet neighborhood a great location. And they gave awesome recommendations for local things to do. We came for the hiking but did so many things locally. I would book again for sure!

5 STARS! All the reviews are true! Tanya’s home and surrounding land is beautiful. Her place is more than just a rental, it was an actual Experience, more like your own personal Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed sleeping in a super comfortable bed, with the windows open, listening to the nighttime sounds of the mountains. Mornings were a definite highlight with amazing breakfasts. While Tanya is happy to prepare you breakfast and leave you to it, she is also happy to chat and answer any questions you may have. My husband and I really enjoyed our morning conversations with Tanya. Should you have the unfortunate need to work during your stay, there are plenty of different areas you can set up shop. The internet connection is good and I was able to log onto my VPN with no issues. All in all we loved our visit and will be back. Thanks so much Tanya!

Susan made me feel welcome with a lovely email and great communication. The home itself is in an incredibly serene location. I was met with the welcomed smell of pine as I entered, and comfortable, attractive furnishings. It's a lovingly appointed place, owned by an artist and well cared for. I had the whole house, and absolutely loved the light filled kitchen, warm and beautiful hardwood floors, hammock in the yard, and relaxing porch. The three ceiling fans on the main floor are terrific, as is the cool, fresh mountain air. I was a student at the Penand School of Crafts, which was an easy, 15 minutes drive. I also took advantage of driving to Asheville (1 hr, 15 min away) and hiking at Roan Mountain (about 30 min away). There's a fitness trail just minutes from the house; it's also within easy walking distance of galleries in Bakersville. I LOVED this peaceful and beautiful house, and miss it!

Cindy was a delightful host. She was there to see to anything that had to be done. She was friendly and responsive. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Awesome Experience: The castle is high, offers privacy, amazing views and peacefulness. We had a great girls get away to celebrate a birthday. We were in the Duke room set up with two twin beds. This is the only option for two to stay in separate beds in the same room (so far). First the host and hostess were both amazing and the tour was full of information. We felt catered to and comfortable. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was presented beautifully and everything tasted SO AMAZING. Benjamin is a wonderful chef. We had eggs benedict like we have never had before and filet, mushrooms and asparagus the night before. YUM. The castle itself also offers many unique sitting places to enjoy the castle and our favorite place was on the front upper deck, enjoying the views of the mountains with a glass of wine. We also hiked to the caves without a guide and that is a trip we highly recommend. It is steep at the end so hiking boots and walking poles are helpful, especially after a rain when it is muddy. The caves were quite large and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Improvement Suggestions: The Duke room is a cool room but it is very dark. This could be improved by adding additional lighting in the room. A vanity or additional shelves in the bathroom are really needed too. With only a pedestal sink, a toilet and small shower, there is no place to put make up/toiletries so some additional storage in that bathroom would be helpful.

This is a quaint and comfy traditional bed-and-breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the hospitality was warm and friendly, and the coffee was excellent.

Gosh, what a dream. Al and Jill were so incredibly friendly and welcoming - and the cozy space we booked was the perfect reprieve from daily the hustle and bustle. Their home is so beautiful - inside and out. We had such a peaceful and restorative weekend there. We so enjoyed the breakfast and the conversations with Al and Jill. We’ll be dreaming of that killer French toast for a long time!

Kerry is a superhost, the place is so tranquil and relaxing, you can feel the serenity all over. Kerry's warm hospitality made our stay blissful and we really enjoyed our stay there, the place is in the middle of mountains and there are many trails around. Such a lovely tree house offers a breathtaking view and serenity in the nature. Would love to go visit again in the winter. Kerry also makes delicious breakfast and don't miss that.

We had a lovely time. The room was very cute and nice and clean. The next morning we were served a lovely breakfast on the porch facing the river. They even accommodated my husband's gluten allergy at breakfast, which we really appreciated. We'll certainly book again if we're in the area

This is a beautiful tranquil piece of paradise on the NC. Mountains. The land and the inn are beautiful place to enjoy a quiet weekend. Suzanne is a gracious host and her fruit compote in the morning is delicious. I look forward to coming back!
