Beachfront holiday rental in Blue Sea

Had an absolutely wonderful day during my Father's Day weekend...I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back time and time again

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful fall weekend get away. James cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Quiet, great view of the lake, nice toasty fire inside for the cool nights. We had a nice weekend! We will book again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It exceeded our expectations and was even better than we imagined based on the photos. Everything we needed for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway was thoughtfully provided. The cottage is in a quiet, beautiful spot—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. This place is really lovely, peaceful and quiet. The grounds are gorgeous and everything in the home was really well stocked and nicely furnished. Just a note that it was cold and we didn’t use the screened in dining/living area. It is open air, so be mindful. We would recommend! Great remote getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. it was an unusually cold weekend so we couldn't go in the lake, but we made great use of the hot tub and fire place! Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week here. Wendy was a wonderful hostess, who was very quick to respond to any messages we sent her. The house was very clean and well organized. She even left pamphlets in case we wanted to explore the surrounding area. The lake was perfect for swimming. When we weren’t swimming, we were competing in family pool tournaments or sitting around the fire playing campfire games. It was the perfect spot for a much needed family getaway.

We went for the July long weekend and would not hesitate to rent it again! It is the perfect spot for people with children. The water is shallow and weed-free. We were lucky and took advantage of the cooler evenings. After the kiddo went to bed, we would hot tub and then jump into the lake. Our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome. There was frequent communication before we arrived to ensure that the house was ready to receive an active 14-month-old. A crib and baby gates were provided. I would highly recommend enjoying this cottage with family and friends!

This was a beautiful spot and Martin was very understanding and helpful. The water access is private and the lake is wonderfully peaceful. We'll be back!

Nice place

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Que dire de l’emplacement?! C’est vraiment magnifique! Nous avons passé 3 jours sur le lac avec les enfants: pêche sur le quai, paddleboards, kayak et baignade. Un chalet sans prétention, de belle dimension et bien entretenu. L’hôte était rapide à répondre. Ce fut un très beau séjour.

Nous étions 4 amis français au Canada et nous avons passé un très agréable moment dans ce chalet près du lac. L'endroit est paisible et magnifique. Je recommande.

Loved our stay here. Lots of space for everyone, and lots of entertainment options, from tv to DVD's to video games. Big kitchen, great instruction booklet, everything was very well organized. Bryan was very responsive and proactive about issues, and our time there was really enjoyable. We hope to get back in the summer to see it in different seasons!
