Swimming lake with particularly clear waters. The water temperature is particularly mild and it is possible to swim from late May until early October. It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. The oldest residential house on the Island of San Giulio, situated in the middle of Lake Orta, distanced 400m from the mainland, accessible only via boat. The villa belongs to our family since 1637, completely refurbished whilst maintaining it's antique medieval charm, we hope you experience an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful and romantic Italian lake locations. Enjoy swimming the clean waters, using our SUP, kayak & water sports equipment. A 40HP boat is available for rent.
