House holiday rentals in Bodega Bay

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

We love this place so much that we came back for a second time. Peaceful home. Kid and dog friendly. Spent our days at tide pools and hiking through redwoods. Cant beat the location.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Forestville. Kurt and Heather were wonderful and took care of everything, from local recommendations (including a photographer to take some family photos) to answering any questions we had during our stay. The house is lovely and the setting is absolutely breathtaking. And you are only 20 minutes from some of the best stops in Sonoma County including Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, and more! We would come back in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough!

We enjoyed our time at The Bluffs last week. It's a wonderful, cozy and comfortable place to spend time unwinding. Great ocean views. We liked the convenience of taking the walking trail in front of the house which leads out to the bluff trail. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking meals: pots, pans, utensils, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, etc. Quiet and peaceful area with deer and other wildlife. We recommend picking up a map of Sea Ranch area at the association office if you want to explore the beaches and trails more. John was very prompt with any questions we had about the house. We look forward to returning again. - Liz

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

This was one of the cleanest and nicest places we've stayed. It was nestled in the trees and literally felt like we were up in a tree house when you looked out the windows. It was beautiful! And the host gave us perfect directions and instructions to help make our stay flawless. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robert is an excellent host who communicates extremely well. He provided us with excellent directions, restaurant recommendations, and was available to us as needed. This home is one of the most well stocked places we have rented from the kitchen, all kinds of games and books, bikes that are in great working order, ping pong table, hot tub on the deck with a wonderful view and more! Check in and check out is very easy. All of the restaurants we tried were very good and all within 3-5 minutes of the house. I would love to stay here again.

Great place! My family of five adults was very comfortable and happy for a birthday weekend getaway. The views are amazing and it’s an easy walk to Portuguese Beach. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to prepare meals with no trouble. Best of all, the hot tub worked and was a great way to unwind and star gaze. Very relaxing and restful place.

We have stayed at several places in Dillion beach and Linda’s place was great! I missed having a view but the fun deck and cozy fireplace were a wonderful alternative. The price was very affordable compared to many other places. Our four kids had a place with the pool table and air hockey table. They all fit nicely up stairs and had plenty of space to spread out. The only thing I would suggest if you plan to rent is to bring your own cooking knife! Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked and provided everything you’d need to make a meal. We walked down to the beach several times, and down to the general store and restaurant easily. It’s in a great location! We will definitely be back.

This house was perfect for our family trip! We prepared all meals there and the kitchen had all the supplies and utensils we needed. Beds comfortable and the reclining sofas were great. Beach access right across the street! We also enjoyed the pool table. Weather sunny, which was a bonus. I thank you for the use of the house and definitely recommend it for a family or friends trip! Such a beautiful place to stay. We loved our time watching the wildlife, walking to the harbor, and just enjoying the peace and quiet. We loved reading the history of the house and seeing photos of families who had lived there. I was thankful for the table in the bathroom and the shelves in the bedroom to hold our belongings. There is no bathroom upstairs so we stayed downstairs, but it was fine for the two of us. Jodie is a friendly host and always responded to messages/questions. We would love to come back.

It was a pretty good place, with access to the beach. some things were a miss but Harman fixed them promptly.

Our friends had stayed at Judy’s place and loved it, so we thought we’d give it a try. The house is gorgeous inside and very tastefully done. Everything was of the highest quality. It’s one of the nicest AirBnbs we’ve stayed in. The views are spectacular and it’s one of the best locations in Dillon Beach village. It’s so close to the beach as well. We would definitely come back.

We just loved our stay at Dan and Julia‘s Bodega Bungalow! The bungalow was in a perfect location with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. It was quiet and private but an easy seven minute drive to restaurants and markets. The bungalow was beautifully maintained and you could tell great thought and care went into the design of the home. It was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. We especially appreciated the fact that there was a coffee grinder and French Press/Chemex instead of your typical Airbnb Keurig maker.For coffee lovers, this was a great added bonus! There was a laundry washer & dryer in the home, which we did utilize once after a long hike in the redwoods. The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable. This was definitely one of our favorite Airbnb stays and Dan and Julia were very responsive hosts. The check-in process was smooth and easy as was checkout. We would absolutely stay here again. Weekend away for wife's birthday. The perfect oasis and retreat. Quiet, relaxing and close to great food/hiking and beach walks. Found ourselves eager to get back and relax, sleep and enjoy sunsets. wonderful weekend

We had a lovely stay at Baydream! The location is unbeatable—right on the water with peaceful views and such a cozy vibe inside. The hosts went above and beyond, even leaving a bottle of wine for my birthday and fresh coffee, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house was clean and charming, perfect for a restful weekend escape. Only minor note—some kitchen basics like salt, pepper, and sugar were missing, and we had a little trouble finding the trash bins at the end (apologies for not getting that sorted!). Still, it was a truly delightful spot and a great stay overall. Thank you for your hospitality!
