At the top of Mont Noir. Welcome in English possible. Spend a family vacation in the heart of Flanders to recharge your batteries. Our "La Cachette Verte" cottage is just 10 steps from the Marguerite Yourcenar departmental park hiking trails. A cozy little nest nestled at the highest point of Mont Noir, 1 km from the Belgian border. Possibility to park your bicycles and cargo bike in our large entrance hall & have breakfast in our tea room by reservation.

In the heart of the Flanders Mountains, on the heights of the village of St Jans Cappel, our 1900 farm is a renovated Flemish farmhouse designed to comfortably accommodate 4/5 people. Surrounded by fields and pastures, our closest neighbors are birds, ducks, hares and deer... come and discover our little piece of heaven ;-)

Cottage and meadow

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. Breakfast on request: 13 euros/person: to be booked before arrival

Romantic cozy cabin for two by the water

Let yourself be amazed by the nature, peace and quiet in the unique Meers Cabin, and all this in comfort. Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Walk, bike, swim or just do nothing.

Relax in this quiet accommodation in the middle of the Monts des Flandres, close to hiking and biking trails. You can visit Belgium nearby. Many cultural sites are to be discovered in the surroundings: Ondankmeulen (Windmill), Mont des Cats Abbey, Marguerite Yourcenar Park, etc. Access to the highway in 10 min will allow you to access remarkable sites: the beaches of the North Sea, the Opal Coast, the center of Lille, etc...
