Der historische Freihof aus dem Jahr 1782 ist ein herausragendes Beispiel für die ländliche Baukultur des 18. Jahrhunderts. Das unter Heimatschutz stehende Bauernhaus wurde im Jahr 2022 umfassend und denkmalgerecht saniert. Dabei wurde grosser Wert auf den Erhalt der historischen Bausubstanz gelegt, während gleichzeitig eine zeitgemässe Nutzung ermöglicht wurde. In the heart of the Emmental, the tiny house/barrel house is in a quiet location right next to an old Emmental farm with wonderful views of the entire Bernese Alps. The barrel cabin offers individuals as well as 2 to 4 people a great place to stay. In the farmhouse there is a furnished kitchen, toilet and shower available (approx. 65 meters away). Right next to the accommodation is a hot tub with massage jets and LED lighting for free use.
