Look out at the pristine City Hall with the Statue of Liberty and a bronze sculpture marking the city where Honest Abe visited just before announcing his run for Presidency. The original bricks and hardwood in this unique 170-year-old home have stood the test of time. Take a an elevator (or stairs) to the 2nd floor. Located in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Within a few blocks are several coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, and bars. Located only 10 miles from the award-winning tourist town of Weston, which has many breweries, wineries, and hiking trails. You won't find this anywhere else! Original wide hardwood floors that were laid 165 years ago and the original brick walls that have stood the test of time. A view from nine windows that overlook our pristine city hall with the statue of liberty and statue of Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln announced his run for presidency right there in Leavenworth!) And to think, he most likely walked across the street and came in our building as it was a saloon at the time! You will enter our loft from the street by keypad and there is a small room leading to our new elevator (big steel door) to take you to the 2nd floor. Directions for the elevator are on the wall. Very easy, just always close the white accordian door to elevator in case your party calls it from another floor. Your party is the only people who have access to this elevator. Check in is between 4 and 7pm. Please drop us a text if it is not in that time frame. Check out is 11am. Again, please drop us a text if you need more time! Mac and Stacy are always just a text away and can be there within 10 minutes. #913-651-7798. Text us with any questions! Ride a custom elevator to the open yet cozy space above the host's candle and gift boutique. The flat is a great base to explore KC, Fort Leavenworth, the county seat, and quaint Weston, MO. Shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and bars are steps away. There is a large parking lot behind the building on 5th street. 65" tv, but we do not have cable. There is a dvd player, and you are welcome to hook your phone to the tv to watch your prime video, hulu, etc. That is what we do, and use the data from our phone or computer to display on the tv screen!

We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. Our settlement was built in 1920. We have a cute apartment above our general store. (one flight of stairs) We offer sweet smells of cinnamon rolls each morning with coffee and pastries right downstairs. We are located right in the middle of town. Basehor is 10 minutes west of Kansas Speedway, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Hollywood casino and Legends shopping area. Lynnmark Mercantile is a 4 minute drive to Holy Field Winery, and 33 minute drive to Historical Lawrence, Kansas

The largest bathroom has front loader laundry, a roll up sink and a no barrier shower with grab bars and an adjustable shower head.

Very spacious living room and bathroom. Simple furnishings, but has the things you need. It is a downstairs unit, so there is some noise from upstairs tenants but there’s a fan and space heater provided in the bedroom that are good white noise for sleeping.

I just want to say if we ever end up in Leavenworth again, we will 100% be booking here again. It was the perfect little house for my husband, 7 mo old baby and I. It was clean, cute and cozy. We felt safe, we had access to the whole house - it wasnt shared - and the host thought of every detail to make us feel at home. Coffee, tea, and snacks were provided as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.. The host was really responsive and nice, and we enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave!

Andrew and Marisa were fabulous hosts. The suite was just as described, they were very informative and greeted us at the door at check in. The bed was so comfy and my son loved the jacuzzi tub! It was so close to everything including the ballfields for the baseball tournament. We will definitely be staying there again! Thank you Andrew and Marisa for a great stay! The house was incredible! We hosted several families for dinner two nights in a row and there was plenty of space. It was a very cool experience and everyone raved about the conversions. The thermostat was set to only cool for a set time (I believe it was 2 hours) so by the middle of the night everyone was hot. It was easy to miss due to the 3-5 feet tall weeds outside. While the seclusion is nice, getting out of vehicles and walking around outside was not fun until we ran them all over. The neighbor who rents the house next door was super amazing. I confirmed the mailing address so I could have a couple of deliveries-WalMart, Amazon and the USPS struggled big time because there is no address nor mailbox. The neighbor brought out items over and was very accommodating.

My wife & I absolutely loved the whimsical silo converted into a tiny home! Everything was immaculately clean and well organized, we enjoyed the little touches of artwork & knew someone nearby was an artist! The hosts were very friendly, definitely don’t mind the occasional biker or cowboy coming through. We even had our very own fire pit with wood stocked for days! We’ll certainly back someday…🤠

Purity is an excellent host. I felt like home immediately after check in. Host was flexible with early check in and was very friendly. Room was super clean, quiet, and kitchen is fully equipped. Host recommended places and trials to visit. I would definitely stay here in future. Purity was very accommodating with any requests and responsive to messages. I highly recommend this place.
