Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bordeaux-Lac

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Hugo welcomed us to his home for a weekend in Bordeaux. He is a very responsive host, who took the time to make recommendations and explain how to get around the city. Her home is in a great location and is very well equipped. It's tastefully decorated. We felt very good during the stay. Thanks!

Our family of two adults and a 7 year old had a great three-night stay at Paul and Melanie’s very clean and welcoming apartment. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Although outside the city, we were able to easily get around Bordeaux using a combination of bus and tram. I would recommend the property to anyone who wants to explore Bordeaux but end the day with quiet evenings.

I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Very good, clean, and air-conditioned accommodation. you can go there without a second thought, you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed Véronique's place, the location, the refined and original decoration. The neighborhood is very quiet, the neighbors friendly! I would this property.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean, it was as described. The welcome is very warm, everything is done to ensure that we have an excellent stay. We even left with a tricycle for our little girl, which the hosts no longer needed. Really, very friendly. We strongly recommend!

His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and welcoming. The bed was large and comfortable with crisp but soft sheets. There was fresh water, condiments and all you needed to settle in for a short or long stay. I loved the location looking at the grand church across the road. The tram was only a few metres away. Lots of food shops, bars and cafes. In short, it was perfect for my one week stay. Thank you.

This apartment is in an excellent position. The bus to the station only 5 mins walk. Although in the centre, the noise at night was not a problem being on the fourth floor with double glazing. It’s easy to walk to everywhere especially the river front on an evening. Very clean with everything you need. Highly recommend

Lea’s place was amazing - location in the heart of the historic district with balcony views to one of the ancient city gates. We traveled here for my dad’s 70th birthday and could not have been happier with the home. Lea was also very responsive and easy to communicate with.

I loved staying at this flat. I also loved Bordeaux. I experienced french living which was absolutely amazing. I loved the balcony views. It was a bit noisy at night due to locals but nothing ear plugs cant fix haha. It makes it more vibey as well. You are close to everything because it’s very central which is amazing. It’s worth it! Everything else really made this trip amazing. It was so pretty and comfortable. Thanks Stephane for being so responsive and providing clear instructions for check in.

Very nice accommodation in an old area of Lormont. The Bato bus is a few hundred yards away, which is convenient to get into town. Just a clarification: the studio is a little warm in the heat.

On the AirBnB route, it sometimes happens that we meet people like Phil, always close but not imposing. Flexible and attentive. For the rest, everything is less than 2 minutes' walk. The apartment is perfect. Thank you Phil and looking forward to seeing you again in Canada in the snow
