No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

I highly recommend this beautiful house in Matera, it’s so cozy and in the perfect location. The view from the terrace is so amazing! Giuseppe is a wonderful host, very responsive and he let us check in early, which was great because my small kids were tired. Thanks so much for everything!

Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen und versorgt. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker. Leider musste ich aus privaten Gründen früher als geplant abreisen. Ich wurde für die Heimfahrt noch mit köstlichen Sandwiches versorgt. Ich werde sehr gerne wieder hierher kommen.
