Monthly Rentals in Borgund

Thank you, Johanna. Our stay was nothing but peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. Although we didn’t get to explore the surrounding area as much as we hoped due to my husband being unwell, it was still a lovely stay. The view was absolutely magical. Waking up each morning to the stunning fjord was unforgettable. The place was very quiet and serene. I’d love to come back again—hopefully next time we can fully explore the peaceful surroundings.

Anne is a great, welcoming host, who’s thought of many minute details to make guests feel comfortable. We had everything we needed (and more) in amazing surroundings and were sorry to have to leave. Lovely spot, great for exploration of Norway’s many wonders surrounding it.

This was such a wonderful home to stay in for a couple of days. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment of it. It is just a 30 mins drive from Aurland / Flam, and even closer to the local town of Lærdal. Fun fact, the world’s longest tunnel is located minutes away from this AirBnB! On the way to Aurland. The house is even better than the photos. It is newly updated with charming furniture through out. The bathroom is spacious and kitchen is fully stocked with a microwave, stove, and fridge. We loved getting to meet Guro’s mom who lives in the neighboring house and their dog as well. She was so sweet and made the experience feel much more like home. It was a pleasure living on an active farm and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Guro is an extremely friendly host explaining the required information about the cottage, and helping out quickly when we had questions. He was eager to explain facts about the area. He also provided useful advice about what can be done in the environment. There are for instance some beautiful walks nearby. The house is very nice and comfortable, the only small remark is maybe that the door openings are quite low.
