Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Castleton! Lots of restaurants/pubs, small convenience shops, and amazing views right on your doorstep. Marieanne was so friendly and always responsive, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will have to visit again next time we’re in Castleton!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated in a vintage style, which made our stay warm and comfortable. Carmen and Martin welcomed us with open arms, and Carmen was incredibly kind and friendly. She explained everything clearly and made sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for the amazing hospitality — we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

Claudia was a helpful, friendly host and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. This lovely apartment is perfectly situated overlooking the canal. It’s very peaceful. Sofa and bed were extremely comfortable and slept really well there. It was immaculately clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely be back if in the area. Thank you for a lovely place.

Just got back from having 3 lovely nights stay at Carr Cottage. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. Good size bathroom with an excellent shower and large towels which is always a bonus. We only used the first floor bedroom but the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to Halifax, bus right outside your door, an hour walk to Sowerby Bridge along the canal and a bus at the bottom of the road to Hebden Bridge. Also, a friendly local pub a few minutes walk down hill too. Thank you Ric & Ingrid for being great hosts, will recommend 😊

Ideal location for our purposes, clean and spacious. Good to see a group of Yellow Hammers on the farm.

We had the best time at Danny's beautiful house. The photos don't so it justice, it's even better in person. There was more than enough room for seven of us plus two dogs, and the house is beautifully decorated. It's in walking distance of at least two convenience/grocery stores, plus there are some lovely country lanes to walk around (we found horses and baby cows about three minutes walk away!). Our children loved the games rooms and the garden is HUGE, so loads of space for kids and dogs to run around, plus some lovely seating areas. Barnsley town is a very short drive away, and there are lots of other beautiful places to visit within an hour or two's drive (our main reason for staying was to visit family who live in Barnsley, but we also visited Whitby and York). There are loads of local takeaways that deliver, and a huge kitchen with all the amenities and utensils you could need if you prefer to cook. We loved our stay and are already planning to come back next year.

Amazing kitchen we both loved cooking in our tapas meal in it. It was great to have a selection of herbs and spices already in the kitchen. Everything clean and tidy . I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. They felt incredibly welcome and throughly enjoyed their stay, they’d definitely return! Thank you Sarah for providing such a lovely home for their stay!

Everad’s place is fantastic. It’s a perfect space for a couple nights, with everything you need. There’s lots of thoughtful extras, like phone chargers by the bed and extra wires downstairs. We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a week late May/early June and all agreed that this is one of the nicest places -- if not the nicest -- that we have ever stayed in. The airbnb itself is beautiful. Simon was a gracious and generous host and had left the kitchen stocked with all kinds of goodies which he encouraged us to consume. We had 3 dinners at the Shoulder of the Mutton -- just because we so much liked their food -- took a number of hikes, checked out Liverpool and visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park [very much worth the hour drive] and Chatworth. All was stunning. I can't recommend this place more highly.

This venue was amazing. Clean, spacious, and with everything described. The host was friendly, accommodating, and replied to any questions within minutes. The countryside views, and the walks in this area are just idyllic. The family and I would 100% recommend.

What a fab stay at John's place! John met us on our arrival and showed us around the flat and even put the kettle on. It was perfect for us with really comfortable beds and pretty spacious. It was in a lovely part of Sheffield and very quiet. Some great coffee shops and pubs nearby. John had the fridge and cupboards well stocked so we weren't short of anything. There was lovely fresh bread, milk, tea, coffee, eggs and juice and plenty more. John was an excellent host and we would love to visit again :)

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

Alison’s place was perfect for my family stay - we were looking for somewhere handy within Yorkshire to visit family, and this apartment gave a truly special Element to our visit. Perfectly functional and charming. The location really is a stand out.

Awesome value for money. Really lovely stay! we had been hiking for 7 days and staying in my camper van so it was a really nice comfortable break. We couldn’t figure out the washing machine but Richard and their partner (so sorry I have blanked on your name!) came right over and helped us! very attentive, and kind. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at Sue's: it was perfect for our needs - a cosy home from home with everything you could possibly need provided. Sue was just as friendly, welcoming and responsive a host as the first time around. We would recommend without hesitation!
