This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Cath and Phil really couldn't be more amazing hosts! Thankyou so so much for letting us use your amazing home for my mums hen party!! The house was immaculate, super spacious, set up for a full party and was just honestly incredible. More than I ever imagined!! We made great use of the huge kitchen, dining room, pool room, garden area, living room and much more. I couldn't recommend this house enough for a hen do! Anything you need cath and Phil will be there to help you. Absolutely perfect. Thankyou again cath and Phil, the memories we will cherish forever xxxxx

Wow what an amazing property, just wish I could have stayed longer. Home from home with more. Comfortable bed/s great quality including bedding and towels of luxury quality. Thoughtful touches on arrival. Local amenities, plenty of restaurants/pubs walking distance. Beautiful local reservoir walks, plenty to do and see. Spa was an amazing added bonus to enjoy your stay with full relaxation under the stars and after a long walk. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to my family and friends already. One of those weekend breaks that you don't want to end. Thanks for everything.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Just like the pictures suggest, a modern well appointed house with great facilities. Comfortable bed (#1 priority) warm welcome and a brew on arrival - very welcome! Phil and Cath are very nice and very chatty and told me all about the Vicarage. After a good nights sleep, I slipped away early and didn't see them to say Thank You. Definite recommendation from me

Just arrived home after 2 fabulous days and nights at Kinder. Ita is the perfect host and Kinder is a real home from home equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. We used the Hot Tub which was bliss, went for a beautiful 6 mile walk and had dinner at The Devonshire in Mellor but the best part of the break was the stunning views! Wow, wow, wow! We didn't want to leave. Thank you Ita for a wonderful stay.

We arrived at Holmfirth afew hours early and had a look around. it’s a beautiful little village with lots of walks at the heart of it. I reached out to Ben to see if we could check in early, not a problem he said with his very prompt response. When we entered the house we were pleasantly surprised on how cute the house was with all amenities you need, especially the kitchen which we used several times. The bed is luxurious in a beautiful room. There is a stream across from the bedroom window, when you go to sleep you can hear it clearly which I personally loved, it actually helped me sleep too. Lots of surrounding walks and lovely restaurants to visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Ben, the owner. He offered everything we needed for our perfect little stay. Thanks again. We’ll be back.

We loved the cottage very comfortable amazing views in a beautiful setting. The hot tub overlooking the lake was idyllic. Sarah was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. Children friendly games etc well equipped the grandchildren loved the cats visiting, feeding the goats treats and playing in the garden. Plenty of wonderful walks we loved the canal walks stumbled across great cafes pubs and local shops...the local pub the junction had a great menu and food was delicious. We would definitely come back again thanks again Sarah

Zoe’s home was beautiful and filled with everything we could need for the night, even provided us with some recommendations of local takeaways and things to do nearby! Such a friendly, helpful host and we really appreciated everything being set up for us!

Lovely home, very welcoming & tidy. The fridge needs a deep clean and downstairs hadn’t been hoovered but otherwise is was nice and clean. Comfy bed, clean bathroom. Safe secure location. Ideal for travel to co-op live, would book again for future events. Hosts super friendly and great communication. Thanks for letting us stay x

Charlotte's place was absolutely spotless and it felt like no expense was spared which was so refreshing to see. Everything was just perfect; the beds were super comfy and the bedding was good quality. The kitchen and kitchen applinances were prestine and the views were something else. We also enjoyed a fab sunday lunch at the white hart inn. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Naeem’s place. It suited our needs well as a large group of friends staying for a weekend get together. We loved the location as we were so close to beautiful Peak District walks, and got lots of use out of the communal areas and large projector screen. We really appreciated Naeem setting up the BBQ and hot tub before we arrived, and enjoyed using both. It is worth noting that the hot tub is not outdoors as shown in the photos, but instead in a small outbuilding that is well set up with lights and a TV screen, but does mean that you can’t sit and enjoy the view from the hot tub. We still really enjoyed using it and understand that this set up makes it much easier to look after the hot tub! The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable, as were the bathrooms. Naeem was a very responsive host, getting back to us very quickly when we had a small problem with the boiler, and checking in often over text to make sure we were enjoying our stay! Where do I start with this review? Chris is one of the most genuine, caring and wonderful people you will ever meet! He saved us from a horrific amount of stress whilst holidaying in Mexico! For some background we had to move out of our home just before going due to an internal soil pipe leak and had been living between parents and hotels just before our family holiday of a lifetime. Whilst we were away the insurers and loss adjustors agreed signed off for a long stay or let meaning we then had to try and find somewhere whilst we were on the other side of the world! I dropped Chris a message and just WOW… What a guy, if it wasn’t for him we’d have likely ruined what remained of our holiday. His place is stunning, so homely and in a beautiful location - everything you need on your doorstep with the most incredible host! It is not a shock Chris carries a 5 Star rating and it is well and truly deserved, do not hesitate and book or reach out! You won’t be disappointed, thanks Chris! 🫶

A great house that met all our needs when visiting nearby family. Equipped with everything you need including some nice touches like children's books and toys. Parking was on the street but plentiful and free. Short walk to shops, takeaways, pubs etc.

this property was cosy and peaceful as advertised. We really enjoyed the peace and quite, as well as the close proximity to the town. the house was well equipped, and very clean. The amenities included were great, and the host was extremely helpful whenever we needed something. I will be recommending this property to my friends and family. it was a great stay.

Jasmine and Amy’s house was an absolute delight to stay in. My family and I really felt at home. We had everything we needed there. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the local high street and many restaurants. We also managed to meet Amy and she was lovely. Thank you.

Beautiful house , all amenities you could think of . Great place to stay for exploring the dales . Highly recommend. Comfortable, clean and very spacious.

Karnis is a great host and pro active in her communication. The house really is a home from home. We had pretty much everything we needed for our stay and found the accomodation to be very comfortable and spacious. Thanks to some lovely weather during our entire stay we made good use of the charming courtyard garden at the rear of the property. Considering the urban nature of the neighbourhood it was quite quiet, even at the weekend and parking was never a problem. We would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area as the location is really convenient for eg. Stockport, Lyme Park, and Manchester.

The photos are stunning, but the view irl is breathtaking. Also, there are hikes within feet of the entrance to the place. We were there in early summer, so there were TWO ice cream stands and a pub with delicious food and drinks within 20 yards of our private outdoor table area (visitors were so jealous!). The flat was exquisitely clean and welcoming. Just magical—-right down to the “witches welcome, muggles tolerated” door mat! Amazing host; amazing stay!
