Idyllic cottage for yourself in Giethoorn

Dit schattige witte huisje met een rieten dak is als uit een sprookjesboek! Alsof je even echt woont in authentiek Giethoorn. (Noord) De bootjes zijn te huur bij de buren en de prachtige bruggetjes zijn te vinden op maar 6 minuten lopen. Hier is Giethoorn ontstaan en staan de oudste huisjes aan het pad. Zonder hordes toeristen. (Die zitten in Giethoorn Zuid) Hier heerst nog heerlijke rust en de schoonheid van het oude dorp Giethoorn. Helaas niet geschikt voor baby's/kinderen van 0 tot 8.

Het Voorhuis van onze rijksmonumentale boerderij is gerenoveerd tot een volledig luxe suite met eigen voorzieningen. De originele details, zoals de hoge plafonds, de bedstee wanden en zelfs een originele bedstee waar je in kan slapen, zijn behouden. Maar liefst 65m2 met een eigen keuken, ruime woonkamer en aparte slaapkamer met vrijstaand bad. Toilet en ruime inloopdouche. Met de optie om, tegen extra kosten, gebruik te maken van de hottub, sauna en buitendouche kom je heerlijk tot rust

Deze comfortabele vrijstaande vakantiewoning, met een flinke tuin met privacy, ligt in een heel rustig klein parkje (± 30 huisjes) in het prachtige landschap van De Friese Wouden, aan de rand van het dorpje Boijl (870 inw.). De zonnige tuin geeft privacy en beschikt over 2 terrassen. Vlakbij zijn de Drentse Koloniën van Weldadigheid (Unesco werelderfgoed) met fraaie dorpen als Frederiksoord (Museum De Proefkolonie). Je kunt er prachtig wandelen, fietsen en zwemmen in het Aekingermeer.

On colder days you can enjoy the wood stove. or take a lovely bath in the spacious bathroom. The house is located on the edge of the forest of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, and within walking distance of the natural bathing water of the Canadameer. In this area you can enjoy walking and cycling, and there is plenty of space for sporting activities.

The cottage has its own garden and borders a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.

Boshuisje Wateren I is nestled in a fairytale-like, enclosed forest garden of 1,500m² on the Boterpol, right on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold. When you open the door in the morning, you step straight into nature. Baking pizzas in the outdoor oven, children on the trampoline, lighting the wood stove in the evening — this is a stay everyone will remember. For 1–5 people, dogs welcome.
