Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bourg-Argental

We had a lovely stay in this charming cottage. This house is particularly warm, well appointed and well equipped. The relaxation area keeps its promises with the Nordic bath under the pine trees and the sauna also in a fuste. Ghislaine and Bernard are welcoming, available and very nice. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Very good stay. The cottage was well equipped and everything was well functional. The place is very well placed in a quiet location, very close to the river "Le Lignon" Outside, in front of the cottage, the terrain is flat which allows for play activities with children. There is also a circular, wooden picnic space that allows 8 people to gather. It is also shaded. Very nice... There is an awning attached to the cottage that allows your car to be sheltered from bad weather. Cathy's place is nearby (100m) which is very convenient in case of need. Access to the village is possible in 20 minutes on foot by a quiet little road, even with a 5 year old. In Tence there are all the amenities to shop, go to restaurants, have cultural activities. Tence has a "Family" label, so there are a lot of activities offered to children.

Jean François and his family are very welcoming. Parking cars is not a problem in the gated property. The accommodation is spacious and well-equipped. On the relaxation side, we were able to enjoy the swimming spa and the pool. It takes a minimum of 3 days to fully appreciate these facilities. Children's games and a trampoline were welcome for our 3.5-year-old grandson. Jean François has a very good rapport with children. The accommodation is well located for access to the Peaugres Zoo and the Palais idéal du facteur Cheval. We are very satisfied with our stay at Jean François's.

Beautiful estate, we had a great time with the family. The place is very quiet, suitable for young children who appreciate the contact with the animals present on the site. The gite is spacious, well-equipped. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time at Anthony's place. Chalet offering multiple services (sauna, jacuzzi, good bedding, barbecue, ping pong, foosball, private lake, pizza oven/super sofa bread...) allowing everyone to find their own account and brighten each evening. The place is peaceful and the lake is very cute. Thanks for the croissants on Sunday mornings, local jams and juices. Recommended 😊

The accommodation is cozy and nicely decorated. We regret the absence of a seating area in the living room, 2 narrow windows that let in little light and heat (in the inter-season it is a little cool but probably very good in the heatwave period). For kitchen accessories, beware of a single hot plate that heats up too much. In the upper bedroom, low ceiling and protruding beam, watch your head when you get up, and only one bedside table. The garden is very nice and well equipped with furniture including a very comfortable hammock! Catherine and Denis are very friendly and welcoming.

Olivier's accommodation is ideal if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place, it is located in the middle of the wheat fields. It's a great fit with the photos and description. We thank him for his welcome and his recommendation for the purchase of fruits (apricots and cherries), they are delicious.

Yvette was a wonderful host, warm and accommodating! Highly recommended. We felt comfortable all around. We will definitely come back, for our transit from Germany to Spain as a stopover it was ideal for us. The accommodation is unique, you feel transported directly back to the Middle Ages. We had a great weekend at Christine's place. The house is spacious, clean and perfectly equipped to offer all the necessary comfort. The game room is a real asset, especially with children, as is the proximity to the river. Access to the house is easy. A big thank you to Christine for her kindness, availability and responsiveness. Accommodation completely in accordance with the photos: very nice accommodation with a very nice landscaped layout, private pool and bocce ball court.

The place is very pretty, surrounded by greenery. The terrace opens directly to the chapel which is beautiful, and the castle on the other side. The sound of the river is relaxing and it is a very good setting to rest. We were very well hosted on top of all that. Only small negative, the humidity due to the river, and a little noise sometimes because of the nearby road, but it's still light. I highly recommend, our group of friends had a great stay.

beautiful house, neat decoration with lots of small details especially in the bedrooms, very well equipped like the summer kitchen (dishwasher, coffee maker, bbq, fridge, microwave, dishes) beautiful pool with small pools, the beds next to the pool are very nice lots of opportunities for activities a few kilometers away (tain cellar, tours, valrhona, tain restaurants) attention point: one or two steps to access each room so to be taken into account if you have a difficulty walking but I highly recommend

Agnès offers you a very well located accommodation for a weekend dedicated to Lyon and its surroundings. She will be a good source of advice, especially for access to the metropolis. Pool is very nice in hot weather. Small downside on the presence of personal belongings in the cupboards and fridge as well as on the price of the nights a little high.

Jean Laurent welcomed us very warmly, with a flexible schedule for us. The house is really a little haven of peace with this well-equipped pool area😊. A beautiful favorite for us.

Also, a very high level of responsiveness in case of need...!!👍 clear explanations of this place where absolutely nothing is missing to spend moments of calm and conviviality. Everything is gathered on site, from the housing, very functional, to the spacious, landscaped and tree-lined exteriors, with a beautiful swimming pool. A perfect stay with Marcel and his wife. Very friendly welcome by the owners and flexible arrival, comfortable accommodation on Marcel's perfectly maintained property, but completely independent. Our hosts were very responsive to any request before and during the stay. We were able to enjoy the pool and easily discover the area from this accommodation. As for the environment... in absolute calm, surrounded by hills, forests, meadows, the Alps on the horizon. It's hard to leave!
