Riverside Cottage is nestled on the edge of a Whinlatter Forest, overlooking a forest ravine in Thornthwaite. The cottage is close to the Skiddaw mountain range, Go Ape and and Michelin Starred restaurant The Cottage In The Wood. Beautifully renovated, it is light and airy throughout. There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath, a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and super modern kitchen, both with patio doors opening to the large veranda overlooking the tumbling beck.

Beautiful garden with BBQ/wood burning-stove. Bassenthwaite Lake is short walk and The Royal Oak pub is in the next village (Braithwaite) just over 1 mile away. The X5 bus runs past the door to Cockermouth, Workington to the west and to Keswick via Braithwaite (the pub). Great reviews and superhost.
