one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! Absolutely beautiful stay at The Den, private, peaceful, amazing surroundings. The perfect place to unwind for a couple of nights!

This was one of the best stays I’ve had. The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing! If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book this place, I’d 100% recommend. We had a lovely 4 nights at the Wagon. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful, enhanced by the addition of the hot tub. The wagon itself was clean, well equipped and secure. Amenities were as described. The Hosts were very responsive and accommodating and even allowed us to check in early due to adverse weather conditions. The location is tucked anyway which is perfect for creating a peaceful environment and always has many different animals which you are able to see throughout your stay. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Dorset countryside which offers touching distance to the seaside.

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of amazing. The space was cozy, clean, and had a lot of attractions—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their thoughtful touches and local recommendations really made a difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat with truly perfect hosts!

We loved it , exactly what we needed for a few days . Getting away from our normally hectic work life . Nice and peaceful. we loved the privacy although your right next to the hosts home you’d never know . They’ve set out everything so you are very much in separate space . The hot tub is amazing, perfect for star gazing if you turn off the lights . On arrival Ann-Marie was so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know . Getting to meet the family pets was a bonus too . Honestly can’t recommend it enough. We both agreed we’d definitely return . If you’re looking for somewhere, chilled with beautiful views this is the one . Loved it thanks again .

We had a lovely stay in Swallows Cabin. It's even more lovely than it is in the photos. Such beautiful surroundings too. The private garden was very big and secure and our dog loved running around and playing out there. Would definitely recommend and we both said we would happily stay again!

We had a great stay at the Bothy - 2 adults and small dog. Lovely spot. Quiet and peaceful. Birdwatching from the hut - daily visits from a kestrel and buzzard overhead and too many varieties to list in the hedges and the wild meadow in front. Take binoculars! Easy access to walks along the Otter and Sid. Didn’t make use of the fire or the outside bath!

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin, it was just so peaceful, set just outside the village with some good walks. The cabin had everything we needed and more, and although the weather wasn't great for us, it was still relaxing to sit out on the porch. The Garden was totally secure for our dog, who had a great time exploring...it was also good to arrive somewhere with a dog and not have a list of dog behaviour rules!! We got to the Wales Retreat and from the moment we walked in we flet so at home with the cosy features. The property smelt beautiful all throughout. Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. The photos don’t do it justice really, the views are stunning, it s decorated beautifully and it has such a calming vibe to it💜 We can’t wait to hopefully return for longer next time😊

lovley stay everything as described, absolutly charming place. You can even see heytor from the garden, stunning. Loads to do in area too. Our microwave stopped working and they came and replaced with a new one in less than 5 minuites. Only shame was the weather was so nice we didnt get a chance to use the wood burner. Faultless

We had a lovely relaxing stay based at Amy’s cabin. Her cabin was a great base to explore the Jurassic coast and also to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Amy was a great host and made us feel very welcome, my daughter also loved playing with her children when we arrived back to the cabin for the evening. Added bonus points for the very friendly pony and chickens. Would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to explore the area.

The Bolt Hole is a delightful little retreat furnished with everything we needed for a great holiday. Tim was a very good host and we had a super break. The weather was good for us but the cabin is very cosy and we thought it would also be great in bad weather.

Honestly cannot fault anything! Amazing host who is so helpful, the property is absolutely stunning and even better than the photo’s. Will 100% be back

A fabulous stay at the cabin - it was exactly as described and absolutely perfect for my stay whilst doing a course at River Cottage. I could walk there along a beautiful, wooded track an around 15mins. The hosts were super responsive to any queries and the cabin itself was spotless with lots of thoughtful touches - loved the little torches! A beautiful, secluded spot.

This is our 3rd visit to The Fisherman's Hut. It is very well equipped and in a lovely location very close to the sea front and the town. Rose and the family are perfect hosts. They are very friendly and helpful and available if required. Thanks again for another lovely, peaceful stay at the property.

Just back from a magical honeymoon stay at The Hoot—absolutely fabulous….. even better than the photos. The energy is incredible: soul-soothing, serene, and full of love. Every detail has been thought of, with quirky decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and soaking in the outdoor tub during a rainstorm was amazing. Jan and Dunc are kind, thoughtful hosts who give you complete space to fully unwind. Can’t imagine anyone regretting a stay here and we will definitely return ✨🌿🛁

Had a lovely stay at the cabin for me and my partners anniversary weekend. Was a lovely escape & was surrounded by beautiful scenery. The area was quiet and extremely peaceful. It has everything you need including cooking supplies. Julia was really friendly and responded quickly to any questions. So glad we found this place & would definitely go back!!

We had the most wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin itself is light and airy, whilst cosy and comfortable. We came with our 8 month old and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to use a good chunk of the garden. We felt very comfortable in the space and welcomed. The host Carolynn was absolutely fantastic. Great communication, gave us good recommendations and was just so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful place!!

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it.
