Gorgeous Gite in Dordogne, Private Pool & Fibre

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

Wonderful apartment very well equipped and spotless. Easy stroll into brantome . Estelle and Ryan are perfect hosts. There if you need them but not intrusive. Pool and garden an added bonus! Fantastic we will return

We stayed a couple of nights at Gladys holiday home. It’s in a great location for the area we wanted to explore. We were meeting friends who were doing a 30 day cycle ride across France so it was great that the home was as described as they had access to a washing machine. Really spacious communal area, great that we all had our own en suite. David showed us around on arrival and where the pool, BBQ and boules area was. They were very welcoming, very accommodating of us using the washing machine. We had a lovely stay,

This is a beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and quiet. The house has pretty much everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Val was a kind and attentive host who responded to our messages quickly and was helpful with recommendations for bakeries, patisseries, restaurants and days out. Sadly the weather meant that the pool was a bit too cold to use but we used the plentiful seating in the pool area a lot and were able to eat out on the terrace in the evening. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful home and we may well be back another year.

We loved that the apartment was so close to everything in Brantome. It was well setup when we arrived and Samantha came over promptly to help with a few little things we couldn’t work out. Her communication before and during our stay was great! Furniture was very good, kitchen worked well for us and we even got Netflix on the tv. A great visit!
