Lorna was great. The house was spotless, well stocked and well laid out. A nice deck and lots of utensils. A really nice surprise!

We had such a great time! Loved being able to walk to the waterfront (caught the northern lights there one night!) As well as to town. The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh was a highlight of our trip. Our group appreciated the multiple methods of caffeination offered at the cottage; the kitchen was well equipped, and our beds were very comfy! Thanks again!

We had an amazing one-month stay, the house's highlights are: Well-located residence for discovering Cape Breton Island and its surroundings. Very quiet place and away from neighbors, just across the marina. Beautiful residence, very clean, full of beautiful windows, comfortable and well air-conditioned Outdoor fire pit and pergolas were very much appreciated. All services and restaurants are less than a kilometer away Nature is very present all around the house (deer, foxes, squirrels, crabs, cormorants, herons, blue jay, kingfisher, etc.). Points to consider: No curtain in the master bedroom. No mosquito nets in any of the windows, so you'll have to choose between mosquitoes or air conditioning. Dining table for only 6 people seated (listed; maximum of 8 guests). Very poorly equipped kitchen Many bulbs are burned out indoors and outdoors and none A big thank you to our hosts for the stay!

Had a great week! The unit was stocked with everything we needed, absolutely spotless. Loved the book, that had the history and things to do in Cheticamp. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back again one day.

Wow a great place to stay and you are right on Cabot’s Trail and Highlands. Park. House was beautiful just as described and even better than the pictures. Beds were so soft and comfortable, smart tvs, nice kitchen stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware and plenty of everything. This was a great place and we wanted to extend our stay it was that great!

The lodge was beautiful. The location was so peaceful and with amazing views. I would love to come back one summer and see the area in a different season. Michael was a fab host and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

Super clean flat with great views! Loved the private beach and recommended hikes nearby. The Groovy Goat gelato just down the road is a must try as well!

Kelly's place was in the most beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the view of the lake / mountains nearby. It is a great location, close to the beaches on the Strait as well as the Margaree Valley which offers some amazing views. The house had everything we needed and we had a wonderful stay. We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

We stayed at Hardy Hollow for a ski trip. It was a great location and a fantastic view!

Had a wonderful time celebrating a family birthday. Kids stayed in the pool most of our visit, it was a huge plus. Beautiful property, enjoyed a fire by the water. Plenty of space and all kitchen amenities were there. Would absolutely recommend.

Excellent place to stay in New Waterford before riding the Cabot Trail. Pool is heated and views are great. About 5 mins from town but most restaurants deliver - and the new pizza and bakery place is great. Karri & Corri were very responsive and had the place ready within 24hrs notice.

We had a great time at Rita’s restreat. My second time staying here and I already can’t wait to book again ! Perfect place for a small gathering of friends.

A very relaxing homey place and a lovely porch with view of the sunset over the mountain. Lovely short walk to the bridge and friendly folk who passed by. Had everything we needed and more. The quality of the cutlery and dishes and the amount and variety of the "Basics" available was impressive.

Amazing place, every amenity you could need plus some fun extras you don’t expect. The most beautiful sunset and the cutest little beach in a cove, wonderful stay near Inverness.

The perfect place to spend a peacefull weekend , the property is even more beautifull then the photos and the host is absolutely amazing,super accommodating and we felt like we were at home right away . Will be back forsure !

Absolutely lovely spot to stay. Very unique experience with picturesque surroundings. Seems very well managed with a very helpful / personable host. We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

Absolutely stunning - my husband and I stayed here for three nights and couldn’t get over the view. We watched the sunset from three different locations each night … all beautiful. That alone would make this place a must stay, but layered on top are gorgeous accommodations with all the modern touches! Can’t wait to visit again.

This was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Wildlife was amazing there. Damien was very responsive I would suggest bringing your own food simply because of the remote location The views were amazing ,gorgeous sunsets. St.Peters is a very friendly town not far from his location, I highly recommend trying The Farmers Pantry.
