Excellent place. Beautiful view.

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

The house had everything you need from toddler to adult very accommodating(books to board games), and the views were refreshing from the deck to the top of the hiking trail. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful gifts of wine and apples, they were such a lovely touch! To top it all off, we had a fantastic time relaxing in the cold pool and hot tub. We’re already looking forward to our next. visit!

We had a perfect stay at Debbie's Fish Eagle cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a win. We loved being so deep in nature. The dam was perfect for us to paddle on. Debbie and James her assistant were friendly and helpful. It was a slice of heaven. Thankyou for the perfect getaway.

What a great weekend getaway for any season. We had a wonderful time on a rainy weekend with the fire place and hot tub. The hosts were responsive and the place is fully equipped.

This place is very special, and a unique addition to any trip! Beautifully decorated, very well stocked, and incredibly peaceful and private. We loved using the pizza oven and hot tub, and taking walks on the surrounding trails. I would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Even though the property is in quite a suburban street, the moment you walk through the garden gate you feel you have entered a woodland away from streets and houses. We loved sitting up on the top balcony watching all the bird activity taking place at tops of the milkwood trees. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay. Very peaceful and secluded. Our dogs enjoyed splashing around in the river.

We had an amazing 2 days here. Very peaceful! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city. The cabin is comfy and has all you need for a relaxed timeout.

What a lovely little wooden cabin. I felt like I was living in a fantasy cabin in the land of the Hobbits. Full of charm and character, yhe cabin cosy and warm, even with stormy weather outside, thanks to a lovely gas heater. Basic but well equipped kitchen. Graham is a lovely host.

Loved staying here with two friends. We had the fire going the whole weekend and went for walks in the nature reserve. Such beautiful surroundings!

An absolutely breathtaking place – stunning views, complete tranquility, and everything you need to truly unwind for a few days in nature. The house is well equipped with all essentials, plus some special extras like a lovely pool, a spacious braai area, and a skylight in the bedroom to fall asleep under the stars. Philipp is a fantastic host – warm, attentive, and always available if needed. And as a delightful surprise, two curious and adorable klipspringers occasionally wander by as local residents. A truly special stay, highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience during our stay. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host was welcoming, responsive, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location was peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful cabin with spectacular views. Hennie was a fantastic host who was very flexible and had fast, responsive communication. The cabin was clean, spacious and homely, with an incredible decking with views across False Bay. Around a 30 minute walk to Gordon’s Bay which was convenient, would definitely stay again next time we’re in South Africa!

Such a hidden gem! Remote, quiet, and incredibly peaceful the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The home was well-equipped and spotless, with beautiful views all around. We loved being off the grid for a few days❤️

We enjoyed a lovely two days at Lika's spot. She was very welcoming and helpful, and was very kind to let us check in earlier than normal because the house was ready for us. Thank you for the lovely, peaceful stay.

Bonnie and David were such lovely hosts. A very warm and friendly couple. It felt like a home away from home. The cabin was so cozy and don’t even get me started on the garden. Absolutely stunning! It felt as though we were out in nature. An absolute gem. Definitely a go to when in Somerset.

I think the two major highlights of this place is the huge fireplace and the big balcony with view. David was very good in communicating what to expect in terms of warmth and electricity. I liked that we could check in and out by just following his detailed instructions. The place was incredibly clean for such an off-the-grid place. Come here if you want a nice peaceful weekend, reading by the fire.

Our second time staying in the cabins. Feel very fortunate to visit this beautiful and special place. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need to have a relaxing time away from home. Hope to visit again soon!

What a beautiful place! It's perfect for a break from the hussle and bustle of the city life. It is sooo peacful, you'll go home feeling refreshed. The hot tub, indoor fire place (especially now during winter), mini waterfall and the rock overhang were highlights for us. There is loads of space for the doggos to explore. We absolutely loved it! Thanks Dieter, we'll love to visit again.🙌🐕💯
