We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment on the water gave us the full Utrecht vibes we were looking for on our visit. It was right in the middle of everything, super easy to explore, and made us feel like part of the Utrecht scene. Watching the boats in the evening was a major highlight of our trip. My whole family agreed, we would love to go back and stay there!

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

“My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und haben die Unterkunft von Ben und Inge für 3 Nächte genutzt. Zum einen die Nähe von Amsterdam ( mit Bushaltestelle in der Nähe und dem Zug ab Weesp... total easy ! ) und den echt schönen kleinen Städte Weesp, Muiden und Naarden. Inge hat uns auf Wunsch jeden Morgen ein unfassbar tolles Frühstück gebracht. Sie ist eine tolle sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen tollen Start in den Tag. Wir haben uns bei Ben und Inge total wohl gefühlt und haben Ihre Gastfreundschaft sehr geschätzt. Die kleine eigenständige Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, sehr sauber und gemütlich (wie auf den Fotos) eingerichtet. Wir hatten tolle Tage im Haus von Richard! Die Lage ist exzellent, schön ruhig und mit dem See natürlich super zum erfrischen. Wir hatten das Boot dazu gemietet und auch eine schöne Zeit auf dem Wasser und dem größeren See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, klimatisierte Räume waren perfekt an den heißen Tagen. Das zusammensitzen auf der Terrasse am See am Abend, super! Mit dem Haus macht man absolut nichts falsch und würden es immer wieder buchen.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Airbnb! Das Haus war genauso, wie auf den Fotos – sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Aussicht aufs Wasser, das hat den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Auch kleine Extras wie ein Willkommensgruß und lokale Tipps waren eine schöne Überraschung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

Wir haben uns das Haus gebucht weil es uns von den Bewertungen sehr angesprochen hat. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber weit übertroffen. Wir kamen in einem Haus in dem wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt haben. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Saskia war problemlos möglich. Wir haben uns das Haus mit einem befreundeten Pärchen gemietet und sind nach einer Woche sehr gut erholt nach Hause gefahren. Wir können das Haus bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen. Wir möchten nächstes Jahr im Herbst wieder kommen. Danke für alles Saskia und Flip.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nette Gastgeberin, tolles Haus, sehr sauber, gute Lage und schöne Ausstattung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Alles in allem ein kleines, aber feines Apartment mit viel Stilgefühl und sehr funktional eingerichtet. Wir hatten alles, was wir zum leben brauchten und eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Die Lage ist wirklich kaum zu toppen. Vorne direkt am Strand, hinten direkt am Radweg zu den Dünen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
