Mermaids View Breathtaking Ocean View-Pet Friendly

JoelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
One of the nicest Airbnb's we've stayed in. The view of the lost coast is stunning. The unit is incredibly clean with new appliances, including a new washer and dryer and new appliances in the kitchen. The host is amazing and very responsive and allowed us to check in early. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the shelter Cove area.

★AVENUE OF THE GIANTS - Retreat★

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a quick overnight stay with my daughter. Checking in was easy, the surrounding views were beautiful. The host was friendly and responsive. Quick too: If you order from a delivery place make sure you describe your unit or they will bring it to the neighbor.

Nature Lovers Wilderness Getaway

MargaretRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

Blissful sunsets and wild nature in the Redwoods

The property is beautifully located, clean and well maintained. It’s very close to the Avenue of Giants. Elaina was very easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Holistic Haven An Organic Luxury & Spa Experience

KelsieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What a unique spot! We stayed here while visiting the redwoods and loved every second. Truly peaceful and beautiful scenery - my husband and I were very relaxed after a day of hiking. The soaking tubs are a must and black sand beach is also close by with an adorable cafe we loved to get coffee at. If you’re looking to go off the grid and enjoy the redwoods, this place is it.

Honeydew Creek Cabin

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Maureen’s place. Maureen was incredibly welcoming! She seemed genuinely happy to have us there and excited to share her farm with us. She is an Airbnb host who truly enjoys the hosting for more than just the financial reasons. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home, which we did. The area itself is very remote. I suggest using an AWD vehicle to get there. We spent two nights there and went back and forth to the avenue of the giants and it was about an hour’s drive to get there and the roads aren’t great in that area. Maureen’s farm is rustic and beautiful. The creek at the property is beautiful. The horses were fun to pet as well as some of the other animals. It’s so quiet and peaceful and feels like you’ve stepped back in time. The night sky and stars were a beautiful sight to behold. The apartment we stayed at was comfortable and cozy. Overall, highly recommend staying here! We would definitely love to visit again.

We had a great time relaxing at the Airbnb. Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub. The host was great, very kind and left a bottle of wine in the fridge for us. Highly recommend!

The House truck on river farm

SukiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kirsten and community were both welcoming and supportive of spaciousness, allowing real rest and ready conversation as you like it. The summer kitchen is a delightful hub and the bath garden is an immersive getaway. The tiny home is not just whimsical but historic, and you can learn a ton about the the home build movement from the cabin book shelf, within plucking distance from the front porch cantilevered over the truck cab. Only a few perplexed looks from the llamas as I chillaxed up there. Bring your scissors for minus tide seaweed harvesting at Mattole Beach (or sleep through it like I did in the not tiny at all sleeping loft), a comfy towel for the river hang, and a notebook if you, like me, are unable to remember all the names of the animals large, small, flocked and shorn, at this laid-back farm.
