Monthly Rentals in Brier Island

Christine and her Beautiful Cove Cottage are purely wonderful. If we could have stayed a month, we would have. To begin, the cottage is the epitome of cozy, perfectly decorated and equipped with everything you could ever need. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is stocked, and the porch is incredible. The view from the porch of the Bay was freshly breathtaking. We were ecstatic about the proximity to Beautiful Cove, the many trails in Freeport and the quick ferry to Brier Island as well. Chris just adds something intangible, almost magical to the experience. She is effortlessly genuine and kind, with a wonderful sense of humor, an openness that makes you feel as if you've known her your whole life, and a treasure trove of stories that had us looking up property next door just for the opportunity to hear more. Her dog Shep is friendly and precious, as are Kit & Kaboodle who we only met in passing. She also greeted us with DELICIOUS baked goods!! We desperately hope to return someday.

The unit was comfortable and has everything you need to cook your own meal .including condiments . It's beautifully appointed . The bed and linen were just beautiful. The most comfortable we have had stayed in so far this trip . Thanks Gail . Was great .

It's a lovely, seaside spot, with all the things you need for a weekend away. The location is easily accessible from anywhere, and very quiet despite the proximity to the cabins onsite. Everything is exactly as pictured, and the hosts were very kind. I would definitely stay there again. The area is beautiful. Just be advised that things nearby close early, and you need to do your grocery shopping, etc., beforehand. Also note that the stairs to the unit are outside: but they are well-lit. And the host has provided a guidebook and area maps /information of things to do. We did not get to try the restaurant, but it looked great, and had a nice menu.

Perfect place to stay when exploring the really unique Briar Island…the house was comfortable and relaxing. Don’t miss out on watching the sunset near the lighthouse- spectacular!!
