Yellow Cottage on the shore of Little Moxie Cove

MaggieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Could not have picked a better place for 7 of us to spend the week. The surroundings are beautiful, we stargazed every night and fell asleep to the sound of the water. We swam every single day off the rocks in front of the house. Round pond itself is very cute and damariscotta has everything you need. We cannot wait to be back!

Apartment in Midcoast Maine

Annette’s place is a great find if you need a place to stay while you explore the Maine countryside. She was great about instructions on finding the house and getting us settled in. Her place was convenient to Damariscotta and the many other wonderful towns in that region of Maine. We will look to stay again if we vacation in the area.

Pemaquid Harbor Couples' Retreat

JosephRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
A beautifully decorated home that preserves its history while adding modern touches for a comfortable long-term stay. We were thrilled to find this gem—it offered a peaceful, quiet retreat not too far from charming towns and plenty of delicious food options. The home is very well stocked, making it easy for us to settle in and feel at home. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the incredible clawfoot tub, and the fantastically equipped kitchen. We had many peaceful, cozy days here and would stay again in a heartbeat. Ellie was a great host and was very helpful with our requests during the stay. Thanks for having us!

Sawyer Cottage 2 Near the Ocean

CelaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Cute cottage- main room with two bedrooms. Great location for walking along the water and easy to get to market and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood with birds chirping, chipmunks and wild turkeys running around. Ocean breezes and the thick comfortable mattresses made sleeping at night instantaneous. You being your own bed sheets and bath towels which is fine- this is the least expensive place around. Save some money on the restaurants by stocking up at the market a 5 minute drive away. Great places to eat but be ready to pay $30-80/per person when going out.

AWESOME MAINE OCEANFRONT HOME, 1st. FLOOR APT.

RolfRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Craig and Fran were wonderful hosts and having them present in the separate upstairs living space made it very comfortable and assuring. Craig was always available if you needed something. Our space was well updated and having the large slider window across the living room made the expansive view of the sea so very special. The place is a great spot for respite and peace, within access to wonderful Quintessential Maine settings. The Kitchen was well supplied with the tools to be completely self contained. A small grocery store is only a mile away if you need a quick run.

Periwinkle Cottage on Pemaquid Harbor

KaelynnRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Stayed here for 3 nights on a mother/daughter trip. Wanted somewhere that was not in touristy area and was quiet. This was perfect! I felt looked even better than the pictures. Plenty of room and everything you needed (except shampoo). Check in was super easy. We were within walking distance of the Fort and the Beach which was nice for morning or sunset. Parking space just for us. Gets stuffy if windows left closed during day but nothing opening the windows didn't fix quickly. Thanks again for great stay! So peaceful.

Rustic Oceanfront Log Cabin

WilliamRating, 5 stars8 months ago
There are no words to describe the stunning view from this cabin. This listing is exactly as described. A rustic cabin. We had family traveling through the area while we were there and they came by to say hello. They remarked that it’s exactly what you’d imagine a “Maine cabin” to be. We came in mid October & as things in the area were winding down. But had a lot of fun strolling through a nearby town that was hosting a pumpkin festival and regatta. We hope to come back and bring our grandchildren (and maybe even their parents ha!) to this rustic cabin in a picturesque setting.

Seawood Sanctuary Artist Retreat

PayalRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Danielle’s house! The house is very nice and open, and has a great story. You feel like you are really getting away with the woods surrounding the property. We enjoyed watching birds come to the feeders in the morning right outside the bedroom window, we could watch while in bed! There is a nice deck to sit outside, and a comfy area upstairs to watch tv or play games. The surroundings are beautiful too, you are a quick walk from the water and the beach is just a few min drive away. It’s a great place for a getaway, would recommend!
