Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Briston

We were very happy with our stay - it was quiet and peaceful, the house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with a lovely garden, close to the sea and to Sheringham centre. We especially enjoyed the coastal path walk and our many stopovers at Whelks Coppers tea rooms. The beach front is lovely on a sunny day (we did get quite a bit of rain but that is the British summer!) I also recommend the nooks and crannies of Peter' s (secondhand) Bookshop, and the fish and chips at Seafare.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Greenacre lodge. Ness was a wonderful host, very generous and thoughtful and on hand whenever we needed anything. We had a smashing time and will definitely return!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

We have just returned home from our second stay at the Bothy. Everything about the accommodation was as perfect as on our previous visit. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and genuine, and Julie and Graham were clearly pleased that we had decided to return for another holiday. The property was perfect for our needs - being comfortable, with excellent facilities and a location which is central for visiting lots of different places. All in all we can thoroughly recommend The Bothy and we would definitely return again if holidaying in Norfolk.

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

We had a lovely 3 nights here. Very relaxing, comfy bed. Lovely courtyard garden. Very large shower. We ate at Blackboys Hotel where the food was incredible! ! We took our puppy with us, the property was perfect for this. Rebecca’s asked any questions we had very quickly. We visited Happisburgh

A lovely little annex which was situated perfectly, just a few miles from various seasides and a number of national trust parks and forests. Hilary was so helpful giving us some useful local tips regarding good meals out. Would thoroughly recommend and we can’t wait to return.

I stayed at Jess' lovely little place with my dogs whilst working in the area. The home is very nicely presented, modern and clean throughout and has all a solo visitor or couple would need for a few days. Very picturesque scenery around the area and the enclosed patio is also great for dogs. I was really grateful for the extra little treats that Jess left for me and done for the doggies too, as for one evening I had no vehicle and had no chance to get other food. Jess was very thoughtful and responsive as a host and even offered for me to check in earlier if I wanted. Would definitely recommend as a home and a host.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

This is a great weekend getaway. Should have stayed a bit longer to explore the place more. The Spa was lovely too.

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

Very friendly and helpful host. We stayed in the accessible cottage and it is very well laid out for a wheelchair user. We will be returning very soon.

We enjoyed a very nice three night stay and it was a great base to explore Holkham and the surrounding coastline. The village had a convenient coop for essential bits and the front garden was secure for our small dog to run around. House had everything we needed and appreciated the new milk and juice left for us in fridge. We felt the host cared that we had a nice time and we did.

We had a delightful stay. The cottage is really delightful with everything you could possibly need. Louisa was helpful and quick with responses and providing information. The area is perfect for a relaxing vacation, but with plenty on hand locally to make more of the your stay should you wish.

Second year running at Pot Luck. Good communication with Polly. Ideal for us next to dog friendly beach. Everything available in accommodation Clean. Very comfortable. Be hard to beat. We will definitely return

What a wonderful place to stay! The accommodation, location, and everything in-between. The B&B had everything you might need from full meals, snacks and drinks, to toiletries, ponchos and things you wouldn't even expect to need... but realise you do! We went on lovely walks (undefeated by the weather), pondered through all the charity shops and independent stores, enjoyed a drink on the beach front and it was all made so much more relaxing by having a home away from home in the form of The Garden Room... A stones throw from the high street and run by two lovely hosts. Hope to be back soon... Think we'll turn into regulars :))

Fabulous cottage, warm and well equipped. Spotlessly clean with everything thing you could think of for a home from home stay. We loved how central it was in Holt yet still peaceful.

Nothing could have been better. Set in such a beautiful, peaceful, tranquil area with easy instructions to find the location. We were met with a really friendly welcome and shown round with such kindness. The thought and effort that had gone into every little detail from instructions how to use things to local walks and things to do to utilise our stay. We will 100% be coming back again! We really recommend staying. Thank you so much for having us and for being so lovely :-) x

What a beautiful stay - From start to finish everything was easy. The barn had everything we needed and was very clean. Super peaceful with wildlife around, close to the shops/beach. Hot tub was perfect and kept on top of. 100% would recommend and would stay here again. Thank you.

This is a lovely little cottage in a great location! Holt is a pretty little town with lots of nice pubs, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. Even though it’s just off the main road the location was actually very quiet and peaceful. The cottage suited my partner and I perfectly but would also suit a couple with kids as there is enough space with 2 bedrooms and bunk beds. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and there are some lovely towns, attractions and beaches all within driving distance of Holt. We booked this last minute and Michelle was able to accept our stay for the very next day, so the hosts are super responsive. We really loved our stay here and would happily come back!
