More than just a beautiful place This place is part of Remote Republic. The idea is simple: we rent out beautiful places – and use the income to enable social organisations to use places like these free of charge. Your booking here helps support our Schiffmühle location, where the boathouse and the grounds along the Alte Oder river are regularly open to social groups at no cost. This 61 m² garden apartment offers space to arrive and breathe. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

Vacation rental in the country house Dornbusch, Bralitz

In the flat there is a kitchen with kitchen facilities (cooker and oven, fridge, sink, dishes and kitchen utensils), a bathroom with shower and washer and a bed-/living room (both in one). The bathroom has got central heating, but the kitchen and the bed-/living room need to be heated by tile stove (of course we'll heat it up before your arrival - so it will be nice and cosy when you arrive). The bedroom has got two single beds and one chest of drawers. It is possible to add one extra mattress or a cot. Linen and towels are available. The flat has it's own entrance and can be accessed without crossing our backyard (where you would meet our dog, 6 cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, chicken and the sheep on the meadow right behind our lot - as you can see, we have quite a little farm here :-) ).

Welcome to this unique carriage house (90sqm). Built in 1922, it has been carefully restored and converted with high-quality materials. This romantic remise is located on Potsdam villa premises featuring old fruit and walnut trees, directly at the shore of Jungfernsee. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

'Anneliese' Duck Berthing Camper Boat

The Entenkoje offers you a unique nature experience in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. You don't need a license and can operate the boat without prior experience. A cozy double bed with a view of the starry sky awaits you in the boat. The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).

As a family & with friends, we redesigned the house ourselves. Minor work, designs, etc. will continue over time. The house is already inviting for a cozy stay.
