Waterfront holiday rentals in Brunswick County

Wonderful stay in Southport, walkable to all things Southport. Rhonda allowed us to have an early check in which we appreciated.

This was our second stay and we will be back! The location is amazing. Bob is extremely communicative and the condo has amazing river views at a fair rate. Add in the condo amenities and included parking and there is no reason to stay anywhere else on the riverwalk. We can’t wait to come back!

We visited Wilmington for a concert at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops close by. Loved the view. Slept comfortably in the king bed. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, and the host is very responsive and helpful.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, the place was absolutely amazing!! We had a great time, would highly highly recommend and will stay again!!

This refuge by the sea will resonate with the healers, the givers, and the empaths. This is a space for you to breathe. To relax. Whether you bring your partner, your best friend, your Mom, or fly solo, you will find healing here. There are fabulous seafood restaurants, breakfast nooks, ice cream and coffee shops. Publix and Lowe’s are just over the bridge. There is morning yoga on the beach offered every other day (Google Ocean Isle Beach Yoga). This little spot is refined but rustic; a true gem. As a solo traveler (also a Mom) I felt safe surrounded by other families and kiddos. Thank you for every detail and every kindness, Christina. It was exactly what I needed!!!! I can’t wait to return next year.

We were looking for a nice place close to the ocean, with a view, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed at all! Anne’s place was beautiful and peaceful. We had an enjoyable, relaxing time. We’ll be back another time!

This was the perfect romantic getaway for my wife’s birthday! We enjoyed everything about this beautiful, quaint location.

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

SUPER CLEAN! Beds comfy. Great towels. Kitchen stocked. Gas grill was an added bonus. The deck though was the star of the stay. Beautiful. The yard was very manicured. We loved watching all the boats go by as well. This place truly had everything you need for a peaceful stay away from it all but close enough to everything! Host was responsive and flexible on check-in. Clear instructions for checkin and checkout. We enjoyed barefoot landing. We would definitely book again!

My family all loved Charlie’s house! It was a great layout for adults chatting around the kitchen bar while kids had room to play. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Having the linens in plastic wrap was a nice touch and felt very clean and safe. The beach was really nice in front of the house. Climbing over the dunes gave us a good workout, but also gave us privacy from beach walkers, etc. Hoping to rent here again!

Coming to OIB has been our family tradition for the past 45 years, but this was the first time in 8 years that my whole family was able to stay together. The hosts graciously allowed both early check in and late check out. The house was impressively clean! Beautifully decorated with modern furniture and updated finishes. Very comfortable and cozy. We brought our elderly dog with us for her first beach visit. I was thankful to find pet bowls to use since I forgot to bring hers. We ordered pizza the first night from our longtime favorite, Sharky’s. The beach was within walking distance and the access was right beside the Community Center with volleyball court and bathrooms. We appreciated the use of the wagon and beach toys provided. We enjoyed the park in the evenings. Both the park and museum are very close to the property. The canal view was peaceful and pleasant. Great hosts, great location, great price! We had a fantastic time and plan to return soon!!

Nice place to stay, very unique.

We loved the hammock house! It was so peaceful and beautiful. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to the beach easily and there were amazing restaurants and plenty to do nearby. We will be back!

The hosts equipped the kitchen with everything you could possibly need, the bath towels were plentiful, the games & puzzle cabinet packed full, and plenty of comfortable casual seating for a large group both inside and out. Roku TV loaded with the most common streaming service apps so bring your sign ins and passwords since there is no antenna/over-the-air network channels. Nothing as nice as being able to walk a direct path from the deck to the beach via the home’s private wooden walkway over the dune.

Sweet Retreat was literally the best vacation our family has ever had. The house had everything we could need and more and was set up so efficiently yet comfortably it felt like a second home, but better because we could enjoy Lake Waccamaw. Everything we needed to cook and enjoy the water was provided by Sweet Retreat. We slept well on the comfy beds and enjoyed family time around the table, the dock, the picnic table. It was perfect!

This place was beautiful! Fort Fisher is literally right next door! The place was clean,beautiful, quiet and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, the pool was well kept, and The view was hard to leave. Will be back. 🫶🏻

The place was really cute, pictures showed everything correctly. The view to the river from the balcony was beautiful to enjoy. Great location. Hope to stay here again at my next visit to Wilmington.

The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The parking was very convenient. Everything for us was within walking distance so it was nice to just park the car and forget about it. Being right on the Riverwalk was great. If you want to see Wilmington NC I highly recommend this condo and host.

Beautiful beach front property! The condo was extremely clean and had a gorgeous view. Only a few steps until the ocean! Harmony had the condo fully stocked with all of the necessities, such as beach towels, beach chairs, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Also, Harmony was extremely responsive and was great to communicate with. The outdoor patio area that overlooked the ocean was a big plus. I would definitely stay here again!

As soon as you walk in the door you see the amazing view of the ocean through the wall of glass doors onto the deck. The decor was very “beachy” and absolutely beautiful! Bathroom was clean and functional. Bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Just like home. Close access to the beach which we used 6 of the 7 days we were there. And right next to the pool! Extremely easy to find and to easy to access! Close to many restaurants! Book of instructions, favorite restaurants and things to do. Also a guest book that many who stayed there left great suggestions for food and fun. Our son and daughter in law stayed here in 2022 and recommended #501. This was an amazing place and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. While it rained the entire time we were there, it did not take away the amazing view of the river and the closeness of all things downtown. This was a great place to stay. We plan to return.
