We stayed at Russell’s place while we had work done on our house, it was the perfect base to be nearby and is a really nice place to stay. The photos and description are accurate and it feels very clean and fresh. Russell was really friendly and very quick with responses to any questions that came up. Would definitely stay again! I had such a perfect stay at Hannahs. Beautiful flat, very easy to find and it was a great walking distance from the NFTS where I did a short course for a couple days. The place is gorgeous and so peaceful and quiet, I had such a good nights sleep. And I hope the come back soon!

We spent an enjoyable 3 weeks in this very old cottage which has been tastefully and sympathetically restored keeping its original low beams and features. Sydenham is a charming Oxfordshire village very close to the Chilterns. It’s an ideal place to explore from. There are lovely walks and views. It’s an easy drive to the market town of Thame and other thatched villages, many of which appear in Midsomer Murders. The Crown opposite provides pub meals and has a lovely garden.

Cannot recommend ‘The Nook’ highly enough, Beautiful surroundings, very private, The Nook is perfect for getting away from life’s daily stresses, Tamra was very responsive and an amazing host, There are lots to do in neighbouring villages and the walk around the chiltern hills was incredible, Will definitely stay again!
