What a gem of a place! We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay in this spotlessly clean property set within a traditional Venetian property with high ceilings, the flat is immaculately presented with great natural light, bright interiors, and a modern and stylish kitchen and bathroom.The flat is on the first floor of house situated on a genteel public square, the flat is at the back of the building, all the rooms of the flat overlook a canal - quintessential Venice. In the immediate area around the flat you’ll find restaurants, cafes and bars It’s a charming twisty turning 15 min walk to St Marks Square and all the tourist big hitters. We walked around all of the 6 districts in Venice from the flat. Our favourite thing was to stand with local residents in the excellent patisserie eating pastries and drinking coffee. Gina and Michele were really helpful and responsive hosts. We were met by their friend who showed us into the flat. We loved our stay and will be back.

Wir haben für 4 Tage die Unterkunft bewohnt, wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (6 und 11). Größe hat gut gepasst. Es war eine angenehme Gegend und alles in unmittelbarer Nähe (Supermarkt, Bäcker, Wasserbushaltestelle LIDO und auch zum Strand (wir waren am free beach) war es nicht weit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Restaurantempfehlungen waren sehr gut! Die Türen zum kleinen Innenhof hatten Fliegengitter, Temperatur war im Mai noch sehr angenehm, Klimaanlage brauchten wir noch nicht. Praktisch fanden wir, dass Handtücher, Duschgel, Seife, Klopapier… vorhanden war.

(Reisezeitraum 30.10. - 03.11.) Authentische Unterkunft am östlichen Rand der Insel direkt am Wasser; der Sonnenaufgang scheint in das Schlafzimmer; das Restaurantangebot ist überschaubar, deswegen kochten wir selbst: dafür ist alles in der Küche der Unterkunft vorhanden; ansonsten lebst du zusammen mit den Einheimischen in einem der vielen bunten Häuschen Buranos's; die Gelassenheit der Einheimischen ist dabei bewundernswert, wenn man überlegt, dass die Insel tagsüber geradezu geflutet wird von Besuchern - am Morgen (bis etwa 10/11Uhr) und am Abend (ab 17 Uhr 30 (im November)) kehrt aber die absolute Ruhe ein; ein weiterer Vorteil ist, ihr fahrt am Vormittag mit leeren Vaporettos nach Venedig oder auf andere Inseln und abends mit überschaubar gefüllten Booten zurück - ihr werdet es zu schätzen wissen, wenn ihr den Gegenverkehr seht P.S. Lorena è stata fin da subito gentile ed attenta alle nostre esigenze. Si è mostrata attiva e premurosa per facilitare il nostro arrivo nell’isola. La casa è situata in un contesto incantevole di Burano. Gli ambienti erano puliti ed accoglienti con ogni comfort di cui necessitavamo per il nostro soggiorno.
