Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our stay at the Airbnb in Mathon was simply fantastic! The property is idyllically located in the mountains and offers breathtaking views – perfect for relaxing and unwinding. A special highlight was the hike to Libi, a beautiful mountain lake about 30 minutes away. The nature, the tranquility and the fresh mountain air were simply magnificent. However, the lake is still a little too cold in May. In the evening we enjoyed a cozy fondue together – a real experience! The perfect end to the day was then in the self-heated hotpot under the stars – an absolute feel-good moment that we will not soon forget. Thank you so much for this wonderful time – I'm sure we'll be back!

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We were in this beautiful wooden hut for the second time. The location is fantastic. Depending on the agricultural work in the area, it can be very quiet or sometimes louder. Also highly recommended with two small children. There are a lot of toys, cats and dogs that stop by for a visit, high chair, children's cutlery. The house was built and furnished with a lot of dedication. The covered patio is great. And you can't get enough of the view. We'll be back!

The location of the accommodation is in a place that fits the appearance of the accommodation expected in Switzerland, with a view of the lake. The milk, juice, and bread prepared by the host were excellent. It's a place I want to come back to again.

4 nights didn’t feel enough and we left with such a heavy heart. Laura’s place is breathtaking and pictures don’t do it any justice. We were so sad to leave the tranquil and peaceful villa. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this and look forward to going back.

We could not recommend Antonietta’s place enough! Not only was Antonietta incredibly welcoming and flexible for our late check-in, but she was on hand for our whole stay if we needed her, Antonietta was a highlight of our whole trip, her warm hospitality is unmatched! The place itself is beautiful, the view takes your breath away and a perfect base for exploring Menaggio. Antonietta gave us clear instructions for walking down into town which is really easy, however it is uphill on the way back! Everything was clean, the bed was super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Perfect location for exploring Lake Como and quieter than the usual tourist hotspots. Don’t hesitate, this is the place to stay in Menaggio! Thank you so much Antonietta, we will be back!

The location was perfect with a fantastic view in all room, the amenities were great, and the host was very friendly and helpful, they also prepared very nice breakfast for guests. The best accommodation so far on our trip through Europe, absolutely magical! We stayed on the ground floor of the house, and although it was over thirty degrees hot when we were there, it was very cool and comfortable inside the house. Good kitchen, clean and nice, fresh bathroom with nice shower and very nice beds. Wirzweli was a small gem of a village in the Swiss Alps, and the winding roads up the mountain were easy to drive even though the driver was doubtful before, there were plenty of meeting places.😊 Wirzweli is perfect for families with children, there is a great playground with a toboggan run and pony rides. The fact that there were also at least three restaurants in the village was a pleasant surprise! I would gladly recommend Sam's accommodation to others and I hope I will be able to come back sometime! There seemed to be nice hiking trails, so if we travel without children sometime, I would like to go there to hike. Thanks for a great stay!

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check in was very smooth. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

We would like to emphasize how accommodating he was: a suitable solution was immediately found for every small concern. The location of the apartment is also ideal. It is very well connected to public transport, so you can easily arrive without a car and explore the area. Overall, absolutely recommended!

We’ve had a fantastic stay at this apartment!. The view was phenomenal!!!. The apartment itself was perfect for our group, plenty of space and 3 balconies where we could admire the views of the lake. The apartment is in such a perfect position and location. It is definitely THE BEST view of the lake. We did have a car and found this useful but it’s only a 20-25 min walk (uphill) and in my opinion it wasn’t too bad. Varenna was lovely, the scenery absolutely stunning and it’s been an amazing trip!. The hosts were great and had great communication. Thanks again for a great stay! We would recommend!

The place is beautiful and very well located. You have a fantastic view of the lake and some hiking opportunities in the area. The apartment is about 10 minutes by car from Colico and it is super quiet. The pool and pool loungers are also great.
