Cabin holiday rentals in Burnet County

This was a very beautiful place to find peace and relaxation. I was not ready to leave. I plan on returning and visiting the same unit. It was very cozy as well and it had everything you needed.

Kelly’s cabin is a dreamy lakeside escape. Everything was perfect! The cozy interior, the peaceful privacy, the incredible hot tub, and the easy lake access. We felt completely at ease and cared for the entire time. You can tell this place is thoughtfully equipped for guests. It was the ideal getaway for us, and we’re so grateful for the memories. Very homey environment with modest accoutrements that were plenty for us. We enjoyed watching the neighbors goats. Great spot to bring your dogs. Small village of other rentals but far enough apart to feel private. Close enough to town to go out or grab provisions but far enough to get a little quiet. All around great stay.

Judy is a wonderful host! She communicated with us immediately. She showed us all the amenities of the property and the house when we arrived. The house was a cute decorated Texas theme pattern. She thought of everything in the house! Beds were comfortable! The living room had a pool table and a smart TV. The outside sitting area was very peaceful and serene! Lots of chairs to sit on and take in the views! The lake was beautiful as well as the pool! This was a little slice of heaven on Lake Buchanan. I wish we had more time because the area was beautiful, scenic, and relaxing! Thank you to Judy for hosting your home, being responsive, giving food requests, and providing extras on the lake. We hope to return soon!

It was cozy off the grid we never got the tv to work but who cares. The games were fun and it was in the sticks. There were 2 of us an only one wash rag a one hand towel a there was to bath towels. You need to tell people to bring there own water cysteine water is not drinking water ok to bath an brush teeth. Had a great 2 night stay. I did not go hiking account of to much cactus about. Wife said a little to far off the grid for her. Took me a little while to work out the lights and never got the front yard to turn off. Enjoyed it all thanks.

The cabin was amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. We were about 20 minutes from all the events we had planned in north Austin area. Horses are on site and friendly. Deer walked past the cabin multiple times. Very dog friendly! Our hosts responded to us immediately every time we had a question.

Had an amazing stay at salty dog ranch the animals are amazing to wake up to every morning we had tears of joy driving away with them in the rear view mirror. The cabin was just perfect and they have everything you’d ever need to cook and never even have to leave your entire stay. You can tell they take pride in their guest stay and the Airbnb itself. You’re about 20 minutes away in any given direction to Johnson city for wineries ect or to Krause springs to cool off. Untamed winery was a huge hit and their pizzas are amazing. Along with bluebonnet cafe being our favorite Restaraunt during the stay amazing home made pies/ home style cookin.

The house is very spacious. The lake is low but you walk down the stairs to the water. The house was very well stocked and the air conditioner works great. A 20 minute drive to Burnet. Plenty of dining establishments, antique shops and HEB for groceries. Overall we had a great stay and if you like the water, this is a good place to vacation. I do recommend taking the Vanishing Texas River Cruise. The guide is very knowledgeable on the area.

This cozy little cabin was everything we were hoping for and more! Adorably decorated and situated in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Our family lived enjoying our morning coffee and tea on the front porch while we watched for deer and birds of all kinds! What makes this stay a real treasure is Drew's hospitality - he was so communicative and provided great insight into the home and the area. We felt like we were staying at a family cabin! We will definitely be coming back!

This Airbnb was perfect for us. The wood inside was beautiful. The space was instantly comfortable and welcoming. The WiFi was great to allow my husband to be able to work remotely while my sister and I headed out during the day.

Great host. Great place right on the lake. Sat outside most of the weekend. Waterfront property so if you bring a boat you have a place to dock it. Steve was very responsive and helpful! Great weekend!

We had to most amazing weekend we ended up extending our stay. We loved the lake, the amenities at the cabin resort and most of all the hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again.

I loved staying here— it was peaceful and welcoming. This is a hidden gem! I loved to see the wild peacocks roam around and Maria was such a lovely host that cares about your comfort. Do yourself a favor and stay!

Wonderful little cabin that’s not far away from town. Perfect for a small getaway to rest and reset.

Cozy cabin with lots of open acres of land surrounding you. We were here during the eclipse and it fit our needs.

While the outside of the unit seems like you’re maybe at the wrong address, when you get around to the front of the house and open the door you will be ecstatic. The retro aesthetic is continuous throughout the property but not kitschy. It favors the building and location beautifully. The lake was awesome to swim in and there are so many cool rocks to look at! There is an H-E-B on the way in, only about 15 minutes from the house. The kitchen has everything you could need, so cooking was a breeze. If you’re a fan of outdoors there are several great state parks within 20 minutes! We had a wonderful time and the hosts were so helpful! Definitely recommend. 10/10 would stay at again.

We had a great stay and this was the perfect location for attending a wedding at Blissful Hill. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the deer, birds and a couple of hummingbirds with our coffee every morning. And the sound of the bullfrogs in the evening was a soothing way to end every day. We’ll be back, especially as the Texas weather gets a bit cooler.
