Farmstay holiday rentals in Burnet County

The place was absolutely beautiful and felt just like home. The view was incredible, the pool was clean, and there were plenty of services and amenities nearby. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway or a mini vacation!

Everything as described and overall very nice stay. House is comfortable and exactly as in pictures. Easy to find. All appliances were in working order and every room was clean. Air conditioning was cranked on when we arrived - cold - something I want and appreciate. The hot tub is very nice and Matthew came by to show us how it worked. It is a small hot tub but a nice touch. Matthew started a nice fire for us as well. Nice place for a family with young kids.

Wish we could've stayed longer! The area is located in the middle of so many things that would be great to do wine tasting, whiskey places, restaurants, bars, attractions. If you do your research before arriving you'll have a list of things to do. Nonetheless, if evem if you don't, and you decide to stay at the house its feels secluded enough and spacious enough that that youre not crammed. The kitchen has so many cooking utensils and pots/pans that it felt like a home away from home. The grill was such a plus and with a full propane tank! Lastly, the dock offered so much space that if needed you could dip and sunbathe all you want. I will be back!

Quiet, private location. Love that we could take our dogs. Loved: spacious living areas, screened porch & deck (although we used it less than expected due to weather), bluebonnets. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked. Bring bottled water. Loved seeing & feeding the deer every night & morning. We brought extra deer corn. Took our Roku for the TVs. We expected to have access to the washer/dryer which is in the listing. Wasn’t a deal killer, but we didn’t bring as many clothes because of that and weather got chilly. We knew the river might be low, but would have good to know in advance just how low it was as well as the difficulty getting down to the river. We had to cut our own path through the weeds. It’s a bit of a challenging hike. We were able to catch several large fish from the shore (bass & catfish). Can see lots of stars & sunsets. Overall, a very homey & comfortable place to stay.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Leah was so accommodating and responded very quickly to a question I had. Cabin was very cute and has everything you need for your stay and more! We will definitely be back.

Had an amazing stay at salty dog ranch the animals are amazing to wake up to every morning we had tears of joy driving away with them in the rear view mirror. The cabin was just perfect and they have everything you’d ever need to cook and never even have to leave your entire stay. You can tell they take pride in their guest stay and the Airbnb itself. You’re about 20 minutes away in any given direction to Johnson city for wineries ect or to Krause springs to cool off. Untamed winery was a huge hit and their pizzas are amazing. Along with bluebonnet cafe being our favorite Restaraunt during the stay amazing home made pies/ home style cookin.

House was beautiful! Only “complaint” is for those sensitive to the light: there are no black out curtains provided. It’s worse in the front room because the flood/spot light by the garage is motion activated and turns on every five seconds, shining right into the room. Other than that: everything was amazing

This cozy little cabin was everything we were hoping for and more! Adorably decorated and situated in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Our family lived enjoying our morning coffee and tea on the front porch while we watched for deer and birds of all kinds! What makes this stay a real treasure is Drew's hospitality - he was so communicative and provided great insight into the home and the area. We felt like we were staying at a family cabin! We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great experience. We had our grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law with us; and utilized all of the amenities. The kids had a great time on the playground, we used the waterhose for the splash pad we brought with us, we had plenty of land for them to ride their electric big wheel bikes that they brought with them, and had a wonderful cookout with the grills, picnic tables, utensils, and smore items provided to us. We also brought our small dog with us, which was nice and we bathed her in the dog wash location. Overall it was a wonderful experience, we had the freedom to do all of this and made beautiful memories with our family.

I just returned from a fantastic stay at this lovely property. We had 11 adults and there was plenty of room to spread out and be together but also places to be alone. The game room was an amazing bonus for us where several of us retreated to have a little quiet away from the group. the property and house were just as described. I do have two things to be aware of, neither anything bad, just something to know. the Master bath toilet is in an extremely narrow space. Most of us were unable to close the door to use it. there were plenty of bathrooms but it's something to be aware of. All the bedrooms have a dedicated bathroom except one of the bunk rooms that shares the main hall bath with the rest of the home. Again, hardly a problem, just something to be aware of. I'm sure it's in the description of the home and I failed to realize it. But we really loved this house and are very likely to book it again for our next get together.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family Spring Break getaway! Our two families, including teenagers, were able to sprawl out and enjoy the outdoor and indoor spaces. We loved the puzzles and game boards available and Suzanne graciously shared walking/running routes for a family member training for a half marathon. We also received great restaurant and state park tips previously provided. What a wonderful trip and host! :)

We stayed here for several days since our daughter wedding was at Hidden River Ranch. Location was perfect for a central bridal family retreat.

Just what we needed, a quite and beautiful place to escape the daily life of a city. Loved the cabin and all the surrounding countryside. It was peaceful and very relaxing. A fantastic place if you’re looking for a weekend getaway.

Ours is an extended family with adult children and small grandchildren. We had a great time at the house and the property in general. The house is even better than the pictures! There are plenty of water activities and a nice trail

I loved staying here— it was peaceful and welcoming. This is a hidden gem! I loved to see the wild peacocks roam around and Maria was such a lovely host that cares about your comfort. Do yourself a favor and stay!

Best airbnb stay to date. Super clean and gorgeous property. This is our third time staying at the Rescue Ranch and we plan to come back for years to come. Really special place with an even more special story behind it.

Peaceful Getaway in Spicewood, Texas My son and I had an unforgettable Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful cabin in Spicewood, Texas. We absolutely loved our stay at this airbnb! Monica was super graceful and let us book her airbnb last minute. The yard was wonderful considering we had pups and it was so peaceful. We would stay again the next time we come into town!
