Cottage holiday rentals in Busserolles

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Superbe week-end chez Frédéric, son logement était tout simplement parfait pour mon amie, mon chien et moi. Le logement est situé dans une petite rue sans passage, idéal pour un week-end reposant. Frédéric est très avenant, il connaît parfaitement sa région et son histoire et saura vous guider sur les belles choses à faire et à voir (Oradour, lac saint pardoux, le roc d’enfer…) Merci à lui pour son accueil et sa gentillesse, nous avons passé un excellent week-end ☀️ Laurie, Sarah et Loki.

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Daren et Bianka et avons vivement apprécié le lieu qui regorge d’activités ludiques sur place ( piscine, billard, baby-foot, tir à l’arc…). Notre fils de 9 ans a adoré. Le gîte est tout confort et très très bien équipé. On se sent comme à la maison. Le logement est bien situé pour visiter cette très jolie région. Bianka et Daren sont formidables ! Nous reviendrons et conseillerons ce super gîte autour de nous. Merci.

What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming gite. The hosts, Samantha and Jamie were so very friendly and welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was spotless, well equipped, very comfortable and had 2 outdoor areas to relax and admire the pretty garden. We enjoyed it so much we would love to visit again. We highly recommend this place.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Florelie. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique, calme et reposant. Relaxation totale. Merci à Simon pour son accueil ainsi que a beau et Belle ;) Je recommande et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Séjour très agréable dans ce petit cottage très bien aménagé, avec tout, y compris des denrées alimentaires ! Hôtes très discrets mais très attentifs au bien être. Cadre paisible et serein que nous serons heureux de retrouver lors d’un prochain séjour !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Amanda et David avec nos amis. Amanda et David sont des hôtes très attentionnés et sympathiques. La maison est très bien équipée. La décoration est soignée. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréable. La piscine est très belle. Un jardin très agréable avec table de ping pong pour les enfants. Un environnement très calme. Nous avons pu également dégusté de bonnes pizza faites par David et Amanda. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour

Excellent Séjour chez Alicja et Michal, le gîte est situé dans un emplacement idéal si vous êtes en recherche de calme, de verdure et de repos : l’extérieur est super beau et l’intérieur du logement que nous avons réservé est décoré avec goût et est super propre. On avait réservé pour 3 nuits avec notre fils d’1an et on avait envie de rester plus longtemps. Alicja avait préparée le lit bébé pour notre fils et une chaise bébé. En libre service plusieurs objet enfant pour aller dans la piscine, notre fils en a bien profiter et nous aussi. Nous avons aussi eu l’occasion de goûter l’incroyable petit déjeuner et dîner d’Alicja, qui cuisine extrêmement bien, très copieux et le tout préparer avec beaucoup d’innovation. Alicja et Michal sont des hôtes très amicaux et très accueillant, nous reviendrons sûrement chez eux sans aucune hésitation.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison était parfaitement conforme à la description, très bien équipée, très propre. Sandra et Vincent sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Lieu très paisible. Nous recommandons vivement !

Ein Haus mit Herz und Seele Wir sind erst ein paar Tage zu Hause und vermissen die Jacotka, den Gérard und das gemütliche Häuschen jetzt schon. Dank dem herzlichen Empfang haben wir uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Gite ist liebevoll eingerichtet , viel Holz, stilvolle Lampen, wunderschöner Schrank den Jaqueline selber bemalt hat, bequeme Betten und tolle, bestickte Bettwäsche. Große, überdachte Terrasse mit Blick aufs grün einfach perfekt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzliche Menschen, wir hatten sogar Glück mit den ein Apéro zu trinken,den freundschaftlichen Abend werden wir nie vergessen. In der Nähe sind zwei sehr gute Restaurants La Douzième Heure und Le Cilaos. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich, die Dörfer sehr schön. Für Liebhaber von Schlösser ein echter Paradies. Die köstlichen Konfitüren von Jacotka (eigene Herstellung) haben uns den tollen Urlaub versüßt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft 100 Prozent. Super séjour chez Paul et Rachel. Environnement magnifique et très calme, une maison avec le charme de l’ancien et une grande piscine au milieux de la nature pour se détendre. Merci pour ce séjour 🙂

The house is very nice and spacious, the location is also very convenient with a local supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful scenery around. The host was always reachable online to answer our questions. We had a very pleasant stay there and would recommend this place for families.

The moulin is a very original and comfortable accomodation. the ground floor is the moulin at the first and second floors is the living areas. the three bedrooms are very well fitted and so are the two bathrooms. the kitchen is well equipped. there is also a living room and a balcony. the stay has been very enjoyable overall. the real highlight in terms of activities is the Charente river where you can swim and kayak / canoe in season. the only downsides of our stay have been: the kitchen was not super clean (fridge, glasses, oven etc); the village has absolutely nothing: no stores, no cafes, no restaurant you need to drive to the next door village for everything (7 mins each way); the terrace is nice but has no sunlight in case you want to sunbathe... overall i would go back in the nice season.

Jolie petite maison, parfaite pour deux, au vert et au calme. Nous avons passé un court mais agréable séjour. Aurel est un hôte très sympathique et réactif qui a à cœur que tout se passe le mieux possible.

Que dire! L'accueil de Katie et Matt est exceptionnel. ils ont été super flexible et ont répondu à tous nos besoins sans même qu'on ai a demander. les petits repas et petits déjeuners sont un vrai plus très appréciable, et c'était délicieux. Un accueil que nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier. Nous reviendrons !

Un super week end au Repaire en famille. Les plus courageux ont pu profiter de la piscine et le terrain de tennis est idéal pour des matchs endiablés ! Merci à Emilie qui est une hôte accueillante et sympathique.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à Ludovic pour sa gentillesse et sa flexibilité sur l’arrivée et le départ. Logement très propre, semblable à l’annonce. Un moment de détente et de déconnexion, au calme entouré par la nature et les animaux. Nous reviendrons c’est sur !
