Hamburg city center can be reached in a good hour by both car and S-Bahn. The North Sea can be reached in about 80 minutes by car. A baby travel crib with children's pillow and children's blanket can be provided upon request. (Fits up to about 4 years of age)

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Lauenbrück is located on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath with a varied landscape. In and around the village there are many ways to explore nature on foot, by bike or by canoe. In the nearby Landpark and the surrounding moor areas, cranes and native wildlife can be observed. Shopping/restaurants are available as well as a doctor/dentist. By train you can easily reach Hamburg/Bremen or take the Lower Saxony ticket to the North Sea.
