The Rózsafaház is a modernized alpine chalet on the Szabó Hill in Kőszeg, in the area of the Írottkő Nature Park, which can be reached by asphalt and forest roads. The house is surrounded by a forest garden, where the green area is well-kept, a garden barbecue clearing, and a playground are available. The building has a panoramic terrace with great views of Transdanubia and the Kőszeg Mountains. The house consists of a kitchen-dining-bedroom (with fireplace) and a bathroom with shower, and upstairs there is a sleeping gallery.

Hallgassátok a madárcsicsergést a reggeli kávét iszogatva, heverésszetek a függőágyban az öreg gesztenyefa alatt, sétáljatok a Mohás-forrást követve az Óház-kilátó túraútvonalán, zárásként pedig ugorjatok be az egyik közeli borászatba, vagy csak gyönyörködjetek a csillagos égboltban a kertből. A házban két felnőtt és egy gyerek (babától 12-13 évesig) fér el kényelmesen, 1 pótágy beállításával.

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a mobile home for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it. So, if you are looking for nature, relaxing, reading, hiking etc... join us.

Ban house in Barabásseg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.
