House holiday rentals in Calenzano

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Excelente estadía, ¡superó mis expectativas! Tuvimos una maravillosa experiencia durante nuestra estancia. El alojamiento estaba impecablemente limpio, bien equipado y se veía tal como en las fotos. La cama era muy cómoda y el lunar tranquilo, ideal para descansar. La ubicación fue perfecta! Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y atentos, siempre disponible para responder cualquier duda y brindar recomendaciones locales. La comunicación fue fluida desde el primer momento. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí. ¡Altamente recomendado para quienes buscan comodidad, limpieza y una atención excelente!

Incredible stay and Bernardino and his family were incredibly welcoming and pleasant. They helped us check in later and were there to help us with any questions we had. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan retreat.

We loved our stay at Michaela’s house. The views were beautiful and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Great location, very short walk to the town or easy bus ride into the center of Florence. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 5 amazing days at Il Gufo and loved every minute. Jacopo is an amazing host and went out of his way throughout to make our stay great. Even meeting us locally and showing us the way to the house. We highly recommend staying at The Owl. The location, high in a valley provides spectacular views and is perfect to relax and unwind. We do not know what was better. The location, accommodations or the fact that we met Jacopo and became immediate friends. That combination made for the greatest memories. Also Luba, their beautiful dog, immediately loved us and greeted us ever time we returned. A little secret, he is an amazing chef and if you get a chance to go to his restaurant do it. Also his dinner recommendations were great. We had dinner at Corte Dei Frati 2 times. Thank you Jacopo for making our 30th Anniversary trip so amazing. We feel privileged to have met you and we will return on our next trip to Italy. You are an amazing person and host. Love Steve & Vicki

Valeria und Simone haben eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet einen super Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir immer gute Tipps und Ratschläge von den beiden bekommen. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt und da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist, konnte er sich frei bewegen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war eine unglaublich schöne Zeit!

Un angolo di intimità e romanticismo dove staccare completamente. Tutto perfetto, host gentilissimo e disponibile, la piscina riscaldata con un buon impianto audio è una goduria. Un eccellente vista sulla natura dei dintorni e soprattutto una estrema privacy. Il centro è 7 minuti di macchina, ma sembra d'essere fuori dalla città.

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

Patrizia's place was an ideal base to explore Florence with the added benefit of visiting the beautiful town of Prato too. It's important to note that it is about half an hour on the train to get to Florence but the station is right outside the house so we didn't mind. There were lots of great bars for an evening drink and nice bakeries for breakfast. The bed was comfy and it was very spacious. Everything was as described. It is worth noting that it is one open plan room with no real walls separating the two sleeping areas and the living area. But that was no issue for us. No notes from us, would highly recommend!

Das Häuschen von Francesca in Prato ist wahrlich ein Schmuckstück! So liebevoll eingerichtet, alles makellos und penibel sauber. Es war alles vorhanden und alles hat bestens funktioniert. Einziger Wermutstropfen war die fehlende Klimaanlage, da es in dieser Woche sehr heiß war. Francesca und ihr Mann sind eine extra Erwähnung wert: So zugewandte und aufmerksame Gastgeber haben wir noch nie kennen gelernt. Immer sofort erreichbar und immer einen Tip und eine Empfehlung zur Hand. Schon der Empfang war überaus liebevoll und schön. Wenn man bei 34° mit dem Motorrad ankommt und kaltes Wasser und ein Snack stehen bereit, was kann es besseres geben!!! Es war eine traumhafte Woche hier zu gast sein zu dürfen....ganz herzlichen Dank und selbstverständlich eine absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Stella nos recebeu muito bem, foi simpática e prestativa. A casa estava muito limpa e organizada. O espaço e aconchegante. O lugar é extraordinário, muito bonito, com natureza exuberante e uma vista maravilhosa. Stella recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes da região que gostamos muito. Somente elogios, nenhuma reclamação.

El alojamiento de Ignazio ha sido una experiencia diferente y poco usual para los alojamientos que solemos alquilar. Pero nos apetecía sentir el ambiente rural y la vida real Italiana. Nos ha sorprendido gratamente. Alojarnos en una casa típica italiana de la zona de 1800. Todo, absolutamente todo tiene historia. Las habitaciones. La cocina. Pequeños misterios de la casa que Ignazio nos explico con detalle y gran amor. Si eres de las personas que ama la historia y la cultura de otros países está es tu casa e Ignazio tu anfitrión. Nos alegramos mucho de haber podido tener esta oportunidad. El pueblo está muy cerca de la parada de tren para ir a todas las ciudades importante en me día hora por 3€ el billete. La comida de los alrededores! Maravillosa. Nos vamos encantados. Muchísimas gracias por todo Ignazio. Arrivederci!

La casetta di campagna è bellissima e ottimamente tenuta. Facile da raggiungere in auto e posizionata in una zona molto tranquilla. Tommaso è stato gentilissimo, la casa era pulita e ordinata e c’era tutto il necessario. Consigliato!

We had a wonderful time. Truly felt like we were under the Tuscan sun. The views from all of our bedrooms were breathtaking. Patrizia was so lovely, so attentive, so thoughtful - made reservations for us at a few local restaurants, where of course, the food was amazing. Patrizia responded to our texts quickly and was so helpful across the board! The location is off the beaten path, but close to some smaller towns and only about 25 minutes into the heart of Florence. You will need a car to get to and from anywhere. It was easy enough to take day trips, driving to so many wonderful towns to visit for the day, parking at one of the parking lots in each town, enjoying the day and returning 'home' to relax.

호스트가 너무나 친절하고 빠르게 응답해주었으며 택시 예약까지 빠르게 도와주어서 무척 감사했습니다. 비록 피렌체 중심부와는 살짝 멀지만 30 분-1 시간 정도면 기차로 이동할 수 있어서 그렇게 불편하진 않았습니다. 방은 깨끗하고 편하지만 와이파이는 조금 안터졌습니다. 하지만 호스트에게 연락하면 금방 도와줄 수 있다고 했기에 만족합니다.

Great place, location, and attentive hosts. I highly recommend! No stairs which is nice if you have a bunch of luggage, you just walk right in. Clean and has everything you need to feel at home.

Spontan gebucht. Und problemlos kurzfristig alles nötige regeln können. Federico ist unaufgeregt kommunikativ und kann den Aufenthalt mit guten Empfehlungen verfeinern. Die Lage ist besonders. Der Ort hat wine gute Wirkung auf Körper und Gemüt. WeiläuAbgelegen aber nicht weit zum einkaufen oder zu Restaurants. Ein schöner Pool. Geschmackvolle Räumlichkeiten. WlanJunckies könnten manchmal mit dem netz etwas hadern aber das Gesamtbild wird dadurch nicht geschmälert. Alles was sonst nötig ist,ist vor Ort oder wird von Federico prompt besorgt. Ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Besuche in Florenz oder im Chianti. Jede Menge auch rustikale trattorias,Winzer und Oliven Bauern in der Nähe.

We were a family of six and the property fit us perfectly. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. The washer and dryer came in handy at the end of a 14 day trip. We walked everywhere no taxis were needed. Many good restaurants, shopping and sightseeing in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again. Communication with host always had a quick response.

A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Auto unbedingt erforderlich. Gianluca kommuniziert prompt, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - ein Superhost! Wir bedanken uns! Auto unbedingt erforderli

Schöne und geräumige Unterkunft. Viel Platz und ruhig gelegen inmitten einer Wohnanlage. Auto ist notwendig. Ab Pontessieve ist Florenz dann gut mit dem Zug erreichbar. Pamela hat viele Vorschläge für Aktivitäten gemacht und schnell auf Fragen und Wünsche reagiert. Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt für uns🍀

Roberto and Barbara were great to correspond with and the location was very close to many things like groceries, restaurants and to the centre core ... where having a garage was such a huge plus!!! We were able to fit in a mid size suv in there but had to fold the mirrors in which isn't a big deal at all. I would definitely recommend this place for future visitors who have a car and want to be close to the city core without being in it. Thanks again Roberto and Barbara for sharing you place with us.
