We are a family of 9 adults and 4 children. This property served us quite well. The pool is beautiful! The adults and children enjoyed it very much. The scenic views are breathtaking. And the home itself, is so unique in a very “cool” way. We all loved the turret and the kids loved the space to wander. Salvo was very responsive and quickly took care of replacing a broken fan. Giulia was very helpful and quick responding back to questions. Also, gave us great recommendations for dining, etc. that were very helpful. Definitely would recommend Villa Eremo Sant’emilia!

Wonderfully quiet place, Sweet people, fruit from the garden may pick, a delicious breakfast if you want and for us that was very useful and nice because we arrived very late and had not yet done any shopping. We loved this place!

We had the best time at Villa Antica Aia! Nobody believed that we are really going to stay in such a lovely, clean house with a beautiful garden, swimming pool, a please to cook and eat inside and outside. I don’t need to describe more because the villa looks exactly like on the pictures!! Oriana is the best host we’ve ever had, very kind, polite and always helpful. She welcomed us with apperitivo, showed us around, explained everything, was always available for us in case of questions where to find something. Thank you again and see you next year!

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Biagio offers a very nice accommodation and was always available. I was allowed to spend 6 days in his house and enjoyed every single one. I liked spending long nights in the whirlpool or on the balcony overlooking the old town the most. The city center was very lively and offers good restaurants. In conclusion, it can be said that a visit is worthwhile.

One of my favourite places on Airbnb so far! We felt very comfortable in this lovely, beautifully furnished flat and hope to be back next time we visit Sicily.

We absolutely loved our stay, watching the sunset and the people stroll by from the balcony with a drink in hand are memories we will long cherish. We didn't have a car so being walking distance to everything we needed including the beach was perfect. The apartment was a great layout for a couple with adult children and the air-conditioning was a great escape from the outside heat.

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

Truly special. This cavernous little house dug into the cliff amongst the rabbit warren old town of Modica is one of a kind. The photos do not prepare you for the stunning view over the old town, burrowed into the valley below. The house itself is clean, functional and has what you need for a few days stay. Despite the raging heat outside, it stays cool throughout the day. Would absolutely recommend staying here for a memorable experience. Our check in/out was easy and hospitable, leaving nothing wanting.

Helorus Villa was nice , the peaceful secluded surroundings of lemon tree orchards is very nice but also an easy 5-10min drive to the supermarket and Noto township and 15mins to the beach. The pool area is very nice although not a lot of shade . We stayed in the upstairs villa and had friends staying downstairs which made for nice meals together on the balcony . The Villa was nice , tidy , well equiped , good air conditioning and had a delightful welcome hamper with some basics which was greatly appreciated as we arrived after a long day of travel. Roberto was a very responsive and helpful and the grounds keeper who lives on site but away from the villa and never intruded was also very friendly .

Gioacchino's garden is a little paradise. Both for our daughter and for us, it was exciting and beautiful to discover the fruits and to harvest and eat ripe fruit and vegetables. In the morning we went to the chicken coop, in the evening we brought the organic waste to the pigs. In between, we went to the pool or to the playground. The house is well thought out - everything you need is there. And a little more (lemon press, blender, etc.) There is a great fruit stand within walking distance, where you can also buy baked goods. A few meters further is the public beach. Unfortunately, it is full and not clean. The beach in the nature reserve is more recommended. But you have to take a walk to get there. But it's worth it. Lido di Noto, Noto and the surrounding towns are great holiday destinations and Gioacchino's house is a recommendation. He himself is very friendly and can be proud of what he has created there. Angela & Giuseppe were amazing hosts. They made us feel right at home and offered so many great recommendations during our visit. They were present in their adjacent home throughout our stay, & they were there if we needed anything but also very respectful of our privacy at the same time. I have never interacted so much with an airbnb host before as they are really lovely people. The property was so beautiful and relaxing. It was a great place to start & end each day of our visit. I really hope to get back there again and cannot recommend their place enough. There were so many great historical sights, beaches & restaurants within a short, (10-30 mins) drive from their place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even in advance, the communication was great and we were also able to ask any questions on site, received tips for the area as well as for great restaurants, etc. The complex is a dream, the individual apartments are beautifully restored and equipped with everything you need. The pool is fantastic, the view of Mount Etna (especially at sunset) is impressive. The wealth of information available in each apartment is also helpful. The description of the restoration of the entire property was particularly interesting - it is admirable how much love and effort has been put into bringing this place back to life! Thanks for a great stay, we will be happy to come back!

We spent a wonderful week exploring the sights of Sicily (you definitely need a car) and having the oasis of Charlotte’s beautiful home to chill in the afternoon and evenings. The pictures do not do the garden justice and is a charming sun trap where we picked lemons and rosemary for our meals. Charlotte was on hand to answer any queries - the nearest supermarket (2 minute walk away), bakery (the sweetest place a 5 minute drive away), how to use the washing machine but never intruded - it is completely your own space. We visited Siracusa, Ortigia, Noto, Ampitheatre, Avola (beautiful beach, free parking, gorgeous ice cream shop on main road) and Ragusa (1.5 hour drive but spectacular views and so worth it!). We had a fabulous week, made all the better by Charlotte 🙂

A beautiful, spacious house with a lovely garden, veranda, and barbecue area! The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The surrounding nature is stunning and peaceful — just a 10-minute drive from Ragusa and 15 minutes from the nearest beach. This is a really lovely villa, it’s got the most incredible garden that makes you feel instantly peaceful as well as being able to pick veg, fresh herbs and fruit. We were very comfortable - the small kitchen had everything you needed and the beds were great. There are so many outdoor seating areas it's hard to choose where to sit - everything is beautifully appointed and well designed and high quality. We had a very happy 6 days at Villa Orto. Sebastiano was super easy to communicate with for arrival and departure and the owner also popped in one day and was very friendly. It's less than 10 minutes drive to Noto, a little further to Avola where there are bigger supermarkets. Easy access to the main roads around the south east and the beaches. Thanks very much!

My mum and I had a lovely few days here. The views were stunning, the host was super communicative and helpful, and it is a very relaxing place to be. The pool is as lovely as you would expect! Highly recommend doing the hike to the ‘Laghetti Cavagrande’ as stopping off for a very wholesome and local experience at the Trattoria Eva e Zio Pippo Marino on the way home.

one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at. great host, very personable, always responsive. we had a bit of problem finding the GPS pin, maybe because US cell roaming was not great. but pietro was right there to talk us through it until we found the place. absolutely loved he accommodations. so lovely to wake up at sunrise and listen to the birds, look out over the countryside. the casa had AC but we never needed it. pool was great. really one of the best airbnb we've ever stayed in. perfect visit to Sicilian countryside
