Homey open concept home where you van listen to the river while you take a dip in the cedar hot tub. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub, closeness to the Von Trappe Famiky Lodge, and the milk brother for my morning coffee.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

Our hosts were super accommodating and had lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. They even left chicken feed for our kids to give the chickens and a discount card to the local grocery. Overall our stay was very comfortable; Erika was very quick to respond to messages and so friendly. We felt right at home!

The house was very clean and was tucked away from the road which made it a peaceful getaway for the weekend. It was .25 miles from Fox Run and Brewster Ridge Disc Golf Courses, so a must for disc golfers to rent. In the winter it is very close to the mountain making it a must rent for winter activities. A few great restaurants within a mile or two of the house. Host was very communicative and was friendly and a pleasure to rent from.

This place was perfect for our family of three for a long weekend. The room had everything we needed and the views of the village from the balcony were amazing. Lots to do in the village and plenty more just a short drive down the road to Stowe. We’d love to come back in the summer when there are more outdoor activities available.

A charming cabin in the woods. it's an old house with modern amenities. Steps to upstairs are made of wooden logs. Beams in the house look original, hand cut with axe marks on them which was very interesting to see. Kitchen is large and modern, though we didn't use it. In short, it's a very beautiful and comfortable house.

Truly a great spot with all the small things you need to make it a special weekend. Craig and Terri had excellent communication and do everything to make you feel right at home. I’ve stayed at this place now three times and am already looking forward to being back!

My husband and I, along with our 3 teenage children, enjoyed 4 days in Vermont with Hyde Park as our "home-base." The setting was quiet and peaceful--just what we needed after a hectic end to the school year! We hiked around the Stowe area, which was only about 20 minutes away. We also loved exploring some of the art and history in Burlington, as well as Lake Champlain. It was nice to have a kitchen and a nearby grocery store so we didn't have to eat out constantly. Gillian was very kind and responsive to our messages during our stay.

Staying at Gail's place was a treat. I came durring the off-season which was quiet and peaceful. Most of the resort area is closed outside winter and summer but there is a small market open during the day for convieniences. It's also a short drive away from many small towns. Standouts were Stowe and Waterbury which were wonderful to visit. There are so many trails to checkout in the area. Hiking up the mountain just outside the apartment is great and has an amazing view at sunset. Camels hump and various trails in the notch were awesome. It was even close enough where I took a day trip into the White Mountains. I stayed for 27 days. Durring the week I work remotely. The internet was enough for large conference calls with video during the day and I had no issues. In the evening there is a noticible slowdown. The Wifi is shared throughout the resort. The kitchen was easy to work with. And when you open the balcony door there is a small stream that offers fantastic white noise.

We had our honeymoon there and had an excellent time. It was a very beautiful area and very friendly people around the Airbnb was beautiful and just as described.

Bottom line: I would stay here again. The place is cozy and tidy. Carmin made obvious efforts to make the place welcoming. It’s a good location that’s removed from the congestion of the village center, but you can get there by car in 5 minutes. You can walk out the door and go for a hike. Water pressure in the shower is good. Carmin provides lots of local recommendations. Netflix readily available. Coffee and welcome snacks given. Heater heats up place quickly. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as you can hear any car pass at night. The place is older, and as such has houseflies. They’re being managed, but it’s a little surprising at first. The place is clean. I didn’t find vent fans for the kitchen or bathroom, but there are windows close. The bed is fairly comfortable, on the softer side, but the pillows are noisy. The cookware is a little beat up (missing handles), but functional. We did not use the washer or dryer. Overall good stay.

This was our second day with Colleen. We were more than pleased. In our estimation, because we have stayed near Burke Mountain more than a few times, Colleen‘s place was by far the best place we have ever been to. We have already rescheduled visit number three. I really don’t think I can say enough to do it justice.

Great little spot in an excellent location. right between Burlington and Stowe. Excellent value. Walking distance to coffee shop, pizza / beer garden, and a riverside trail. Only negatives were that the bed was pretty firm, and the bathroom Is very tight. Overall had a great stay.

Small but has a fully equipped kitchen, other than the only sink is in the bathroom. The sink is big and it worked fine. The park is 1/2 block away and town is 2 blocks. Comfortable bed and quiet at night. Good restaurants and unique shops in town. Lots of nature trails close by. Be mindful of having the key it could be easy to get locked out. We enjoyed our time in the apartment and definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Bristol. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Aarons’s place was the perfect home base for a visit to stowe and surrounding area. quite part of stowe, unbelievable views from the dining and rec room windows and minutes from everything. perfect place to come back to after a day of adventures !

My husband and I stayed in National at 1854 House and we loved it! It was exactly as described, and Sarah was a terrific host. Everything was very clean, she was quick to respond, left detailed instructions about all the unit had to offer, and even gave us some local recommendations. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the swing in the living room was a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for exploring all of northern Vermont. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would absolutely stay in National again. Definitely recommend!

Cute little place that was a perfect location for our visit to Stowe. Walkable restaurants and stores and even the places we had to drive weren’t far either. The place was very clean and perfect for our group. Would definitely come again!

We had a great 1-night stay! The place is very well stocked for short stays, even with an electric two burner cook top, microwave and fridge. Lots of linens and cutlery and cooking utensils and pots and pans. Super clean and more spacious than I was expecting. If you’re lucky you will meet the pups! I hope to come back!

The condo was excelent. Plenty of space, clean, and well organized. The condo has lots of dishes, pots, pans, cups which made it easy to cook. The grill was in good condition and located perfectly on the balcony. Josh was very responsive and flexible. He gave very clear instructions and the expectations for checkout were very reasonable and easy to complete. Great place to book if you are bringing children and pets! Plenty of yard space for them to play. The location is a close to drive stowe for skiing and to ben and jerrys factory for a fun family acitivty. I highly recommend this location!!

My husband and I loved our stay at the slopeside condo. The chair lift is right next to the condo for easy ski access (AMAZING skiing btw). Inside, the condo is so clean and cozy. Emily (the co-host) was very nice and responsive with great local restaurant recommendations. We're already thinking of coming back next year!

We are on our third stay. We are very comfortable there. Small cozy accommodation, well located with well-equipped kitchen. Suitable for couple.

No frills but that’s what we were looking for, for a quick spring ski trip! Affordable and great for the kids with a ton to do on the property. Game space, pool, hot tub, laser tag plus skiing! Super fun packed few days. Host very communicative. We will return.
