Jane’s place was very nice and clean! We would consider staying here again if we’re in the area. She was very responsive and left delicious muffins for us!

This was our fourth time at the Red Mill and each trip makes us eager for the next one. There is a spark of magic in the garden, the art, the perfectly curated collection of books... you just can't go wrong. The falls are beautiful, rain or shine, but they are nothing compared to the best host we've ever met. Joan is a treasure. I call her an ambassador for the region. You can see in her guestbook that we are not alone in making multiple return trips to see her and the full experience she has created. All five senses come alive at the Mill. If you need a peaceful getaway, just do it.

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment was perfect for the 4 of us. While our plans were family oriented and we didn’t visit the village, the location is great and the restaurants are close by. Their remodel of a Victorian home is very tasteful and a great mix of the new and old. We loved knowing the history of the building. The staircase going up from the door is steep and tricky with bags, but it’s an old Victorian home and do-able. Would definitely recommend. I have family close by but if I need to, I’d stay again!! We stayed at Michael and Laura’s place for a few nights during the Nitrate Picture Show. The apartment was so charming and even exceeded my expectations from the photos! Everything was immaculate and there were tons of clean towels and linens. It had such a cozy feeling and we immediately felt at home. The entire house and grounds were so beautiful and we wished we could’ve spent more time hanging out there between films at the festival! Definitely a place we’d stay in again next time we’re in Rochester.

This cozy little studio was perfect for our couples trip! I personally wouldn’t try and squeeze a third guest in, it’s small but very cute and well set up. The host was amazing and very responsive. We were able to walk to the village in 5 minutes. Everything else we wanted to see was at most a 20 minute drive. Cute little town and great airbnb! Highly recommend!

Beth's apartment has lots of charm! we loved our stay and it is very walkable to restaurants and shops. I would definitely book this apartment again in the future!

We had a great stay at Ronn’s place! It was very conveniently located, as we attended the rose soirée and had to just walk across the st to get back and we’re so close to downtown. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. We slept great on the comfy bed too! Thanks Ronn! We’ll keep this place in mind for the future!

Drift away was a wonderful cottage right on the lake. Place was extremely comfortable. Beautiful views. We didn’t have the greatest weather which would have made the trip so much better, so we hope to plan a trip back soon.

I had the most incredible stay at this remote getaway! The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape to unwind and recharge. The space was beautifully maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking to disconnect and soak in some serious beauty, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house!! Mike and Rhonda did an exceptional job with maintaining the house! The house was very clean, and had all the essentials! We spent so much time at the house basement playing games! Would definitely come back again!!!

We stayed at this beautifully restored 1800s schoolhouse over the weekend and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect little escape from the city, a peaceful, charming spot that feels like a step back in time (in the best way). Thoughtfully updated with all the modern comforts, while still holding onto its historic charm. The natural light, cozy touches, and quiet surroundings made it such a relaxing stay. We brought our bikes and rode around Canandaigua Lake, highly recommend if you're into cycling! There’s so much beauty to take in, and coming back to this peaceful retreat at the end of the day was just what I needed. Thank you for creating such a special place!

I have been staying at AirBnBs for the last 9 years and I can say this was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the views, entertain the kinds in the game room, or relax on the deck with a good book, this place had it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway on the lake!

We had a great time here! Chris gave us incredible food and activity recommendations making our stay extremely worthwhile. He was responsive and helpful throughout the entire weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here- the views were incredible, the dock was so peaceful, and we loved having access to a fire pit. The driveway is pretty steep, required to walk up/down to access the dock. Our stay was perfect, can't wait to return.

This cabin was incredible! Beautifully designed and decorated with high quality linens, kitchen utensils, and furnishings. The views from the deck and the master bedroom were spectacular! Be aware there are no blinds on the big windows in the bedroom which means a beautiful wake up with the sunrise at 5:30 am. The host assured us that no one could see in and we took her word for it!😉

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Tobiah was a fabulous host. He answered all questions promptly and was very helpful. We had a small gathering of family, coming from far apart and the condo was wonderful! It worked beautifully for our needs. We loved the view of the lake off the balconies-- especially with a full moon reflecting on it! The condo was well-appointed, with everything we needed. It was a very comfortable setting and close to hiking, wineries, and water activities, as well as cycling along the Erie Canal. The condo's location, a short distance between the towns of Naples and Canadaigua, made it easy to run an errand or go out eat. We highly recommend Tobiah's waterfront condo!

Great Place to stay if your looking forward to relaxing and catching a break from everything.

Booked as a surprised for my bills-fan husband the weekend of our wedding. Pretty cool place. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was fine! If you’re coming here to watch football- keep in mind it’s a projector screen and not a tv. Sound only comes from the projector. The screen isn’t taught so I don’t think it’d be be best place for watching parties. But other than that we had a great time!

The condo was in a nice, quite development. There were plenty of stores and gas stations close by and easy access to the freeway.

Everything was like the pictures. Host was very informative about nearby locations with parks and restaurants. Place was clean and felt cozy. Definitely recommend!

Every time I visit home, I always try to book new places. This space was exactly as advertised, very clean, nice tucked away space. Brought back a lot of memories because the unit is right across the street from my old middle school. Elizabeth was a great host. Responses were on time and checking in was flexible. The garage was perfect for my rental. I plan on visiting Rochester again in July. If Elizabeth’s unit is available I will be booking again.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at The Place! Swain was a very quiet and peaceful area (though I'm sure it gets busier during ski season), and we felt safe and enjoyed the privacy. While we did have to drive a bit for restaurants and activities, the condo was stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment that allowed us to cook meals during our stay, and also had a variety of board games for entertainment. The wifi was very spotty, but that was not a huge concern for our stay. One other thing I want to note was that there were some clothes left in closets and used toiletry items in the bathroom cabinets; I was not bothered by it since everything was very clean, but just a heads up if anyone is not comfortable with that. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of blankets and towels, and the wood fireplace was nice for chillier nights. Overall, I have to say that the condo was beautiful and exceeded my expectations - the pictures really do not do it justice!

Great place. Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything you’d want to do in Rochester.
