Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Candlewood Lake

Patti's home exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtful design and stunning architecture. The house is beautifully crafted with soaring high ceilings, an airy and light-filled interior, and countless thoughtful touches that made our stay feel truly special. The location couldn't be better - we were perfectly positioned for amazing hiking adventures and discovered some incredible restaurants nearby. Her local knowledge was invaluable and really enhanced our entire experience. Speaking of Patti, she is an absolutely wonderful host! Communication was seamless from booking through checkout - she was incredibly responsive, easy to reach, and genuinely helpful with every question we had. This home is a true gem, and Patti is the kind of host that makes Airbnb special. We can't wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ulster County and the surrounding region.

Beautiful location, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean home with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. And the town, which is a short drive from the home, is very charming with lots of cute shops and great dining options. The only couple of flags are the bedrooms are all side by side and the walls are thin, so be prepared to be aware of the movements of all staying in the house (or bring headphones). And they’re not joking when they say the neighbors are close, like RIGHT next to you on both sides, and sound definitely travels easier on the water. We were grilling one night and could hear every word the couple next door to us spoke as they had their evening wine on their deck. So just keep that in mind if you’re seeking deep privacy or have a noisier group. But overall a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautifully appointed home. I’d be happy to come back.

The Hobbit House is as wonderful as one might imagine. Certainly the outside is charming and unique, but so too is the inside, filled with magical decorations, swords, maps, and even carved concrete ceilings! And the hot tub was preheated, and the water pressure was adequate, and the mountains and rock formations were awesome, and the bed was comfy, and our 30th anniversary will be a bright spot in our memories forever.

I had an incredible experience staying at Sunny's place! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Sunny was an outstanding host: friendly, responsive. The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and you can tell that Sunny really cares about his guests’ experience. Sahir’s place is exactly as described and matches the photos perfectly. Even though it rained during our stay, we still had a fun and relaxing weekend — including our 5-month-old baby and our dog! Everything was super clean, and I loved that it wasn’t too far from NYC or North Jersey.

My family of 8 adults needed a place to stay near a wedding at Glynwood. This wonderful spot was minutes away from the farm and town. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone the privacy desired while the well equipped kitchen and living rooms had plenty of space for gathering. The house and land are beautiful, including the trail. Paula was easy to communicate with and my whole family felt comfortable and happy with the spot. Highly recommend!

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

Gautam was very responsive and extremely kind! The property had a huge backyard. You don’t need to ever leave the premise. The pool, yard, and gazebo were the perfect place to spend the weekend. Each bedroom has a bathroom and had great privacy. It was a great weekend!

Peri’s place is one of the best airbnb I’ve ever been. My kids and guests love the game area, jacuzzi and sauna. Everything works perfectly. Just a little suggestion: need extra chairs in the kitchen table and please provide door mats. We are a little concerned on bringing in dirt to the house. Overall place is perfect for family and guests!

Our stay at this beautiful private wood house was magical. Surrounded by peaceful forest, it was the perfect escape from everyday life. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of charm, with stunning views from every window. We loved the quiet mornings, forest walks, and starlit evenings by the fire. Total relaxation. This was undoubtedly the most beautiful airbnb i have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The pictures are great but in person this place is magical. The whole layout of the cabin emanated a calm but playful energy and the decor was so thoughtfully curated. It felt like I was living in my favorite movie staying there. I will most definitely book this place again in the future! Some feedback - it’s hard to tell which side of the street the cabin is on at night because apple maps took us to across the street when typing in the address. Maybe there could be a lit up sign that points to the cabin with the address number. Second, i wish there was an option to have just a little more light in the kitchen area but i get the ambiance feel for it. Otherwise, Nicolas was wonderful, communicative and the check - in / check out process was seamless!

We absolutely loved our stay at Fil & Ellie’s place, it made it the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in, it felt so calm. The place is beautiful with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fireplace. We’ve been to the Catskills countless times and this is the best experience due to the wonderful stay. Thank you!

The location exceeded all expectations. This is one of the few Airbnb‘s that’s actually more beautiful than the pictures. Serenity at its finest. We were greeted by baby deer and a beautiful flock of birds that set the tone for an amazing weekend. Wineries and walks over the Hudson River are a short 20 minute drive away. Fantastic dining along the Hudson. Steve is a true professional host. He only took five minutes of our time and we figured everything else out. The fire pit was amazing with ample wood. Lake view and waterfall and ruins are even better in person than the pictures. The house is spotless and well designed with 2 incredible bathrooms. No cons. All pros. One of the few rentals I’d come back to.

The hosts were fantastic, very responsive, and accommodating. Their home is lovely: relaxing, picturesque views, and inviting. One of our favorite extra features was the kids bedroom with tons of (new) toys for our toddler to play with. There were more toys than shown in the pictures and we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. 10/10 and would definitely revisit in the future.

Such a great spot for the weekend! We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin which had so much natural light and was quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and inviting. We really appreciated Melissa's clear instructions on finding the cabin as we arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Marta's house. Everything was spotless, well cared for and thoughtful. The check in process was so simple and the house rules were easy to follow. The record collection was such a nice touch, especially on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the basement with a full media setup and games was perfect for a Saturday night in. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and amenities and the hot tub was great as well! The location was also great! Nothing bad to say about this amazing little spot :-)

Had a lovely weekend getaway here! Mirav’s place was clean and quiet, and everything was as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to Woodstock; it’s less than a 10 minute drive, so easily accessible for good food and cute shops. Would definitely stay again!
