Villa holiday rentals in Canossa

Delightful, well equipped, comfortable and really quiet. It’s a real getaway but not too far from some lovely beaches and villages; a car is a must. Do note that there is no aircon, but the fan supplied was adequate for us. Our host, Elizabetta was extremely helpful.

The villa was incredible. It had an amazing view and excellent ambiance. The house it self was well furnished and the property felt very private even though it was just a short drive down the hill from the train station to Cinque Terre. Sarah was very helpful and very prompt on answering any questions we had. We did the pasta making class and had a wonderful experience. Booking this accommodation was not only booking a house but also, booking unforgettable memories.

We were so lucky to stay at Isabella’s beautiful space this past weekend as a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The home and surroundings was even more beautiful than the photos, and was the perfect space for a large group of friends or a few families. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and their decoration was so charming. The outdoor pool was the perfect place to spend sunny summer afternoons, along with the many terraces. Isabella herself was so warm and welcoming - from the moment we arrived we felt at home and she was able to answer any questions we had for help. We ate one evening where Isabella’s husband cooked for us and the food was so delicious and the “restaurant” terrace to sit was so beautiful. We were also very lucky to get to meet the many lovely animals including Brando and the two barn kittens - a highlight for the group. It would be our dream to return one day - thank you so much Isabella!

Villa Frau was a dream to stay in, so close to Lucca and we found the day trips to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cinque Terre a breeze to drive. Katia was so helpful and friendly and a joy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!

Wonderful stay. Clean, spacious, nice pool. Well located, quiet area. A few small things like something too little stuff in the kitchen, the back door to the terrace is stuck and opens poorly and the hot water at the sink was not there. But those are small things. Overall definitely recommended. Oh, and successor's son and daughter-in-law, the gelateria at the top supermarket Essalunga is also a great tip. And furthermore, the osteria moderna in the Pescia stand is also recommended.

The home exceeded our expectations! We spent a wonderful week there with our family. A fantastic house, magical place and lots to see and do in the nearby area! The host couple was very nice and helpful - a compliment to them! The house and kitchen were well-equipped and we lacked absolutely nothing - but now that we leave we miss the house and look forward to coming back! Ciao - see you!

Absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have wished for a better place. The accommodation was both charming and comfortable, with incredible attention to detail. The view, the surroundings, and the overall atmosphere were simply magical – a true dream spot for relaxing. Everything was clean, well-organized, and inviting, and the hosts were warm and helpful from start to finish. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

just wanted to share how much I loved my time at this beautiful place. We were a family of 11 adults, and the house was perfect for a big group like ours. It’s very spacious and extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and everything you’d hope for in Tuscany. The swimming pool was one of our favorite spots, offering an amazing panoramic view of the nearby town—just breathtaking. Our host, Tatiana , was extremely kind and welcoming. One morning, we were surprised with a delicious selection of Italian pastries for breakfast—a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more special. It’s also a great place for children, with plenty of outdoor space and a safe, relaxing environment. I would absolutely recommend this stay to families or large groups looking for a memorable Tuscan escape. I’d definitely come back!

Overall we had a great stay! The dogs and area are great! Is it about an hour walk to the beach and is a little far from surrounding areas, but the walk is beautiful! We had electricity issues one night but the host was quick to reply. Overall would stay again! The house was very clean, pool was beautiful and a great place to relax!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old house. The property has much character, original details, and a peaceful, timeless atmosphere. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made it special was the view — absolutely breathtaking. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the terrace or winding down in the evening, the scenery was a highlight. The host was responsive and friendly, and check-in was smooth and easy. Gilda is a great, very warm hostess. As a welcome, there was homemade jam, cake and a large fruit basket. The homemade bread was especially delicious. The farewell was sweetened again with jam and homemade limoncello. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. The view over Massa to the sea was magnificent. We felt welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. Thanks for the great place 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Antica Villa vicino Firenze. The villa is full of charm and character, with beautifully maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with authentic Tuscan touches. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or anything we needed. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Florence, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. One of the highlights was the pool—the view from there is absolutely amazing, overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We especially loved the garden, the views, and the feeling of stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern comforts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and authentic Tuscan experience close to Florence.

We had a great weekend in the house. The views of the sea and Levanto Bay are amazing. All this, in a very quiet location. In short, a great place to enjoy the dolce vita.

Dilletta was a very polite and responsive host. As a family of 4 adults and 2 children, We felt the home was very accommodating. The 2 children each had a nice size bedroom. The views were beautiful and the outdoor patio was very relaxing. Because we had been traveling we were able to wash a few clothes and hang them to dry outside on a spacious clothes line. I only have 2 constructive suggestions, providing a portable fan in each bedroom would help w/ the doors being open and keeping flying insects out. The second suggestion is to weed the front garden area. The trees and flowers were beautiful and some weeds were starting to take over. All and all we would recommend staying here again. This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

Impeccable, we have had an amazing family holiday with our young son and couldn’t ask for more. Brilliant location, not far from Pisa which was helpful for flying and we could access many areas of interest in the region. More importantly when we spent time at the villa it was just perfect, there is so much space in the garden and great facilities for our family. We really enjoyed getting out on the bikes. Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and the recommendations on where to visit were appreciated. We were sad to leave and would love to return.

We had a lovely stay at Leonardos villa in the hills of the Tuscany. The place has different villas that are within walking distance of each other but with enough distance so that privacy is kept. The villa is very rustic and old, which creates the Italian charm, but of course ants also find their way into the house which you need to be aware of. We were not disturbed by that and loved the country- style feeling of the place!

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!

Silvia is a very welcoming and pro-active host. She does not hesitate to recommend nearby activities and restaurants. Her place is very nice and the setting is very beautiful! I recommend it!

Beatrice is a great host! She welcomed us very warmly and toured the house with us. She also gave us several recommendations for things to do in the area, which we greatly appreciated. The house was spotless and the exterior layout is breathtaking. The sunrise in the morning was amazing if you're lucky enough to see it. The house is a little far from big cities so I recommend a car to make it easier to get around.

We felt at home very quickly. There was a lot to offer with the pool, the sauna and the table tennis. The wood pizza oven was our highlight.
